Tough choice. Conscriptor.

Conscriptor is the obvious pick here.

Conscriptor is great and splashable. No reason to not get it here.

Stratus Walk

Both Triton and Shieldmate are good, but I like evasion + cycling.

I love Stratus Walk, but Triton is the pick here.

Tough choice.
Stratus Walk - Cantrip aura that feeds into multiple strategies.
Fearsome Temper - I must be underating this, because I keep hearing it's pretty good. I guess in limited the activated ability plus the P/T boost make a creature pretty tough to beat.
Triton - Solid card. Can go in any deck.
Shieldmate- Same as above, but we aren't super committed to white yet.

Triton

Your arguments may sway me though.

Hmm... could temper really be better than triton? I generally prefer the option to play a vanilla 2/3. More resistent to removal...

Oh yes, this is rapidly becoming one of my favorite blue commons in BNG.

Deepwater Hypnotist

I will take your guys' word for it... but I thought this was a snap pick rollicker.

I figured that Springleaf would've been the top contender. Color fixing and an inspired enabler? I haven't actually ever drafted the set though, so I'll also pick Hypnotist.

There just aren't enough good inspired cards to take the drum on spec. I expect it gets much better in full block, assuming they make more inspired gods in JTN. That being said, neither rollicker or hypnotist are much better 2s so speculating on 3 color isn't a terrible play.

I don't think early beaters are what we want with all those late game bombs. I think Drum plays better with what we already have.
