I'd go so far to say that Assault on Dragon Keep has been my favorite DLC of recent history as far as fun and entertaining goes.

I'm not very far into Buried at Sea for Bioshock Infinite yet, but its taking all the feels from the first two games and punching me right in dem. That was my main complaint about Infinite was that it didnt have the feel of the first two games, but damn does this DLC have it.

I may end up needing another body for the Red Box...

We were going to be a bit light and just have three people (ugh DMNPCs) but now Silly hasnt done much in the way of posting so the party could really use another person. A healer would be nice but I could always make the DMNPC heals and the new player could play whatever.

I could fill in the slot if needed. More than willing to try my hand at a Cleric. Any source limitations?

If someone else shows interest in the slot though I'm willing to concede it.

Well we'd definitely be glad to have you, but before you go green lighting and singing up let me make sure you know all the details:

The game was/is a 'learning experience' game for two new players (Roaring Mouse and Silly) so things are lightheated and low key. Most of the preperations were done through instant messenger so theres no real setup thread, though I could definitely make one so that we can discuss your character creation or you could simply chat either here or the game OC. The are no source limitations but due to the newbie nature of the game do try to keep things on the simple side (the restrictions I asked of Squinty Eyes was no multiclass, hybrids, or psions). Other than that anything you want to do simply ask and I'll give it the thumbs up or thumbs down. Character sheets are done via Mythweavers, you can roll stats or use point buy, start with 100g.

The game is currently up and running and the group is in their first combat but its mostly just a short training combat that was meant to get everyone in the swing of things before the dungeon crawl actually began. Whichever way you wished to enter the game we could do, either roleplay you joining the party somehow or just simply handwave and have you in the game.

Thanks for the interest whether you join or not!

I'll PM you once I have the character ready.

Should be sometime tomorrow. Late here. And as far as intros go, figure we can work out a reason why my character wasn't with them at first.

Might have something to do with the fact that we only made it to the first PC turn before resorting to poop jokes

*Sniff*

The play-by-post sections are really starting to grow up so fast. There was a time where every new post was a game I was in and needed my attention, and now I keep seeing new posts and coming here to find its from one of several games I'm not in. And even more games are starting to interest check in the Setup Zone.

*sniff*

Its so beautiful

An Open Apology to the NGA RPG Community

Dear Sir or Madam (whichever may apply),

I do apologize for not being active in the forums the past little while, but I've been a bit busy, sick, and distracted. Extra hours at work, a cold kicking my ass, and apparently Central Florida got passed an Anomaly / Artifact / Shard / Whatever You Call It in Ingress. To those who don't play, Ingress is an amazing augmented reality game where you fight to control portals out in the real world. But apparently there's also special items that can only move from portal to portal with a crap ton of organization and work, and it happens in real time, on location. I have been fighting for The Resistance's side for two straight days trying to pass the Artifact, but we've been locked down by The Enlightened every single step of the way. Just for perspective, we have people from Miami, Tampa, Daytona, Orlando, and Atlanta (GA) working together on site trying to move this thing in coordinated efforts almost round the clock. So..... yeah. I know I've missed turns in games, and been really slow to update my own, and generally not around. I'm still here, just in a limited capacity until we can get this Artifact the living hell out of our state. If we don't get it out of Central Florida tomorrow night, it gets locked for the weekend, and then unlocked the following week. So cross your fingers, because we're sick of owning it.

Sincerely,
~SE++

S'okay. I'll post a basic attack for Libi if you don't end up being available when it's her turn. Hope things work out!

My Skype session this week went fairly well... only one more encounter to go in the Keep on the Shadowfell module and we're looking to come out of it at level four.

Not sure if the group plans on continuing those characters into another module but I'll likely be retiring my ranger due to my deploment. The amount of damage I'm doing is nice though, and I don't think I've actually been hit yet, but I agree with those that make fun of Rangers just spamming Twin Strike.

Maybe I'll start a rogue at some point and see how 4e fairs for them.

Playing RPG over Skype sounds like a great idea. Too bad I have no one to play in real life

Bounty Hunter, I'd like to ask what you mean "on 22's". Popped in to read the Squinty's Sandbox Ooc thread and saw that comment, Ragrio's gnome rolls included. 22's supposed to be something?

Its a faster than play by post for sure, and normally includes a lot more 'table talk' and joking. PBP players tend to keep the chatter sorta minimum and not at all like a real table.

I only know like... two people that play D&D IRL and they're both super new, and both have quite busy schedules.

Edit :

@Shockwave : The 22s joke was about him rolling all 22s on that post, and was in reference to 22 inch rims.
