Aregano's eyes bulge as he grins. His purple hand appears and scoops some of the fresh snow into a ball. He "sprinkles" it with some magical tastiness and starts munching on the snowball as his purple hand holds it aloft for him, while his actual hands are folded over his corpulent belly.

After a few crunchy bites, Aregano looks up the side of the mountain. He notes the goblin tower where the sniper just fled from, and then starts moving among the trees until he finds one that lines up with the tower and where the pillar of snow is coming out of the mountain on the other side of the tower. He takes particular note of that tree. Now if he wants to guide someone up to whatever opening is up there, he can just keep them in line with that tree and the tower, and they should eventually come across the opening.

"It might be a good idea to grab some of that gear before it gets buried in fresh snow..."

Tovar nods at Lucian. Just having some fun with the little guys. Lighten up buddy! He laughs.

He turns towards Aregano. That's not a bad idea, maybe there's something good. He trudges through the snow in the direction of the loot.

Among the items, the tattered, bloody clothes, and the bodies of the goblins, you find: several pouches of gold totaling 132 gold pieces, a breastplate with a bolt hole in it, a wooden shield, a set of masterwork studded leather, gnome-sized robes, and two arcane scrolls (Make Whole).

While you are looking through the loot, Flint scours the battlefield, retrieving his daggers, collecting two more, and strapping a short sword to his belt.

Tovar gives a hearty bellow. Hey Aregano, feeling up to a snack? Tovar lifts the wooden shield and offers it to Aregano.

Aregano chuckles.

"That's a bit small of a plate for my normal portion sizes, but I suppose one of those fresh grilled goblins would fit nicely on it. Oh! I better get some of that blue slush before it gets buried too!"

He hustles over to where the ice warrior was slaughtered and collects a portion of the slush in a vial, and tucks it into his satchel.

Aregano looks warily at the mouth of the cave, and then hustles back to his covered position behind the tree. The goblin sniper did say there were two more ice men, a dragon, and more goblins than you could count on your fingers in there. No sense in staying out in the open should all of them decide to come see what just happened outside the cave.

Libi checks over the body she's alone with in the tower, she'll take up the crossbow and any bolts she comes across. She'll also check out the body for any other loot / information. Hearing the battle over, she climbs down from the tower and joins the others after she is done.

You made me miss it! Nolan says gruffly and continues almost shouting at the tiefling. And to why? To help an abomination, a creature abjured by my goddess, that intelligent as it is, it is still just an abomination that killed one of the most devout members of Avandras Church and he was my best friend. His death ended the life of a good person with the heart of a true adventurer. The world will be a worse place to live now. He is almost crying at the end of this speech with tears forming at the corner of his eyes.

Nolan turns his back to the tiefling, walking away from him. He says in a low tone.Revenge may be wrong, but I am ready to receive the penance for carrying it. Next time, dont enter my way or... He remembers who is giving the orders and stops his sentence abruptly. But the tiefling can notice that he has no intention of holding back next time.

A thin smile creeps across Lucian's face as he watches the cleric storm away. He chuckles to himself and shrugs towards Nolan. "That is what I've always loved about religious types - such passion! A shame that it is wasted prostrated to a deity - though I do wonder what makes one an abomination in her eyes. Is poor Tovar to be shunned for his orc blood? Ah I waste time in idle thought. We have work to be doing. I shall look forward to our next dalliance. It feel it shall be a fitting crescendo to our little dance."

Surveying the remains of the battlefield the tiefling calls out to the others. "Right then. If your finished harvesting lunch and pulling the gold teeth from goblins skulls shall we continue? Perhaps before we all freeze to death in this wretched place? Libi would you be so kind as to scout ahead for us? After all you and the shadows are old bedfellows and I can rely on no other for that sutble touch." He bows slightly in courtesy and motions towards the cave entrance.

"Are you calling me old, Half Demon?" Libi asks Lucian as she slips around the tower and slides along the side of the cave. Each step of the way, she looks around cautiously for any dangers that may be ahead.

Libi's progress looks painfully slow, her feet swallowed by the accumulation of snow. After roughly thirty feet, she disappears into the snow-storm shooting out of the cave.

A short while later, Libi returns to the group outside the cave. "It's in there. Or, at the very least, something is in there. Seems that they are prodding the dragon, or whatever it is, I couldn't see it very well, to force this blizzard. There's quite a few of them, movement is incredibly slow, and visibility is almost non-existent. What do you guys want to do?"

Lucian mulls over Libi's information for a moment before answering. "Well if conditions are as bad as you say a direct assault would be inadvisable." Turning away from Libi and wandering towards the nearest watchtower in the hopes of finding some shelter from the building storm he stops short and looks up at the cliff face where the goblin marksman had previously scurried away. "Hmm. You don't suppose there is an alternate entrance to this place? Perhaps up there some where?"

"The cavern seems open at the top, but I couldn't tell how high."

"I hate to agree with the beast, but it is right. We should storm this vile den and purge the sinners and abominations inside with just one mighty holy strike." Nolan says agreeing with Tovar, but making a disgusting face to say this. He is secretly starting to like the beast, its fighting skills are impressive and its desire for goblin extermination useful. The courageous halfling seems a good person too. On the other hand, the insensible tiefling and the gluttonous eladrin were falling fast in his esteem.

Aregano continues to munch on magical flavored snowballs from behind the cover of the tree. He keeps an eye on the others, but is unable to hear them due to the blizzard-like conditions.

Finishing up his latest snowball, which he decided to color purple this time before devouring it, Aregano refreshes the warmth of his garments and then shuffles up to where the rest of the party is standing in the brunt of the blizzard. He searches the formless blobs of darkness in the field of white until he finds Libi.

Basically yelling to be heard over the din "What did you see in there?"

"I saw a dragon, imprisoned in a crystal orb, bound in metal, being attacked repeatedly, and with every attack its fury grew, and the blizzard raged harder. Only goblins, no ice warriors, but there was a small room that I couldn't explore safely. The going is slow and incredibly dangerous," Libi replies.
