Regardless of what Fel thinks about me....I'm going to accept his claim as truth, until proven otherwise. Shock was on my short list (right behind Freddeh) and that's more than enough to change my vote.

I'm always leery to take a claim at face value - understandably, I hope. That said, I was a bit suspicious of Fel Day One, but thought he comported himself well under C_K's pressure. In my head, his post cleared him of most of my suspicion - right up to the claim.

If mafia have a role blocker, we now know who's the target...

Okay so first of all, some random speculation.

First of all, we presumably have a cop. There is a small chance that felby (do you mind if I call you felby?) is mafia, but it's highly unlikely, so I'm going to ignore that scenario. If he is mafia, we can always just kill him tomorrow. Anyways, I fully expect felby's role to be much less useful now that he's claimed, but hey one mafia is better than nothing. If I were playing cop, I would likely go after people who aren't posting much that I find suspicious. For example, if you found both Shockwave and Altimis suspicious and had a choice of investigating one of them, I think the optimal choice is the investigate the lurkier one, which would have been Shock. It's much harder to build a solid case against somebody who is lurky, but somebody who plays overly aggressive will leave a lot of rope behind that they could potentially be hung with. That is just my opinion though, so take it with a grain of salt.

Also, felb, note that if you get a town investigation on somebody, that DOES NOT MEAN they are town. It's somewhat likely that the mafia has a babyface, so one member of the mafia could turn up town in investigations. Someone, turning up town in investigation certainly is helpful, but it should not be a free pass to excuse all of their play.

Anyways, onto the second interesting point. There was no nightkill N1. Either the mafia purposely no hit, or we have a town doctor/roleblocker. I'm going to guess that our town protective role is a doctor variant and not a roleblocker, because that makes much more sense game design wise. If we had both a town cop and roleblocker, we have essentially "two" investigative roles, which is probably not a thing in this game.

So speculating on this game, since we have a town cop and doctor, I fully expect the mafia to have a babyface and another power role (plus one vanilla). The second power role is either a tracker or a roleblocker (I really don't think town tracker/roleblocker is feasible at this point). If our doctor is a very bad variant, I could see the mafia only having one power role, but I would err on the side of two for now.

I'm going to do a reread in a little bit, but Garren sounds really bad to me D1 and early D2. His posts are getting a bit better, but I'd be happy if he died.

I thought that Felbatista was playing really weirdly as well, and would have probably killed him, but the whole cop claim sort of threw a wrench in things.

There are a few other people that seem suspicious, but they won't be mentioned at this time.

Statements like this are exactly the reason I was pressing you. Your opinion from the first post I quoted went from neutral to leaning scum in the second post I quoted, yet you're trying to assert your opinion didn't change until after the second post I quoted. Your actions take on the appearance of trying to push Shock under the bus but lack a solid argument to do so. Given that the nature of your certainty today is a cop investigation and not something you can easily point to in thread, I'd say that was exactly the case. Additionally given the foretold presence of a Doc at the beginning of today, worry about you being a cop was a non-issue and the vetting of your assertions was a better play than ignoring what could easily be scum trying to railroad another player. Note, that this is not to say you definitely have to be scum or that Shock couldn't be scum either. But players who don't ask questions don't find answers.

I don't know if anyone here is played with me before, but I tend to really want to be very free about lynching people based on small points that bug me, and I really like to do seemingly stupid things that aren't too stupid when you think about them.

In all fairness it's a decent point. Although altering my play-style because someone called me on it would just make me look guilty wouldn't it? Ah the intricacies of the game. I shall endeavour to make my future posts live up to your expectations.

I have many opinions. Not all of them need to be shared at this point.

I haven't been giving this game the attention it deserves, so if I am to be on the chopping block for it, so be it. I am spreading myself thin as it is.

To answer Cereal Killer: I reread again and realized there wasn't a momentum shift off of Altimis. The only person to be voted was rstnme in post 157 (yes, it isn't number, just do the math). I misinterpreted the data I had skimmed through.

It will take me some time to get my head back in the swing of things, but time is a commodity in deadline driven mafia games. Silly has reported in and added some good content to look over, so I have no problem ending things now.
