fellhide brawler is a bear-minus. We do not have a minotaur lord. It's actually worse than a fleshmad steed. There are 3 other (barely) playable white cards in the pack as well so we are likely to wheel one. We won't get much white pack 3, that is probably true... but we will be OK if we get one of red or black.

I don't actually think I care about blocking if I'm an aggro deck.

If people wanna grab a white card and try to swing for the fences, I'm up for whatever. Just so long as I get to say "I told you so" if it doesn't work out, and "this is random luck" if it does.

Why? Do servants not wheel? I haven't drafted this format very much.

Volley is more likely to wheel than servant. I wanted to take the eidolon since someone said we are aggro... but we are not aggro beyond a couple rollickers. (bears split in half?). But I think servant will serve us well especially if we get another one and/or wheel this volley (which I think is very likely)

Hm. I was seeing servants wheel. I think. I'll admit I'm less into limited now bc I didn't like Theros and this is sort of like Theros but with new clothes.

Servant seems nice, since its inspiration is free.

Is Lightning Volley any good? Red should be attacking, not keeping creatures back to ping. We are also in black, which has some defensive creatures, but I still don't like the Volley.

I really like volley, as it turns chump blockers into removal/damage to the face. I think creatures can get outclassed fairly quickly in the format, so finding a secondary use for them, at instant speed, seems pretty awesome, especially one that enables inspired. This is all in my brain though.

Volley seems very bad in the typical red beat down deck... I think it's OK here and OK in a R(w) weenie deck (akroan crusader?).
It seems very clunky to activate inspired a single time -- you would really need 2-3 inspired creatures on the board at the same time, AND have the mana next turn to fire their abilities (most cost 2-3).

rstnme's use case as a block enhancer seems OK. They don't have to be chumps either, but they can be. I guess you could flip the tables on a guy who finally thinks he has broken a board stall... you better win though.
