While you dont have to post exactly like this, notice how clear and concise the information is.

Most importantly, remember to stay In-Character in the In-Character thread, and keep Out-of-Character conversation in the Out-Of-Character thread.

Everyone please pick a speaking color to make things easier to read.

To help the party out I'll be playing a Warforged Warlock that will be speaking in Purple. If things prove to be a little rough without heals, I have a cleric that I'll simply swap into the game.

After considering "a color slightly lighter than black" and "a shade of gray almost indistinguishable from the background", I eventually decided that words coming out of my mouth will take on the color #FACADE.

It's a word so hopefully I don't forget it five minutes into the game.

Welll...

I guess one out of three players picking a color visible to the human eye isn't bad... could be worse I suppose.

Hmm, what do you think BH, should I keep with the Warden or return Thirty-Four?

Conclusion: Trying to spell words in hex is a bad idea. Probably because letters represent large numbers, so the resulting color is inevitably too light.

Fun Fact with hex colors: Navajo White is #FFDEAD. People are evil.

I still need to get a practice combat in with Silly so she's got a better grip on the rules, so whenever she has the time we'll get it done. I'm still on-call till Friday morning but should still be able to swing something during the evenings.

Roaring Mouse will still be new to the whole formatting posts stuff...but nothing that cant be learned quickly and through repetition.

I've been working on typing up some of the DM speech ahead of time so that things can keep moving along at a decent pace, and could theoretically start the IC thread off with the three of you in town and such just so everyone can get the feel for their characters and the quest that you'll be setting out on.

And all joking and silliness aside, I'd really appreciate it if Squinty and Silly picked speech colors that are...well...readable. The orange is barely visable on the red/grey theme via PC and I have to highlight it to see it, none of the colors Silly has linked have been even close to readable without highlighting. The problem becomes even worse when I swap to my phone, and not only are they harder to see they're harder to highlight. If it comes down to it I'll give up the purple color if someone wants it, but please for the love of Bahamut pick a readable color.

Today is the day of despair. I've spent the last six or so hours doing the same problem set.

Tomorrow should be much better though. And by tomorrow I really mean today because it's already 4 am.

Wait lime green actually looks really good on these forums. Testing out some other colors just to be sure I want to go with green.

Slate
Mint
Gold
Green
Dark Green

So, we're playing a module called "The Red Box" and our first mission is chasing down a Box? Is it red?

I've also realized, I have no idea about your characters at all since BH contacted each of us via different means to do the character creation. So, I have no idea who / what anyone else is playing, and I'm guessing you guys are more or less as unfamiliar with my character as I am with yours. So, since it looks like we've traveled and fought together before:

Fandyr Belruel is a 7'6", 311 lb Goliath who will defend his allies to the death. He carries a Warhammer, a Heavy Shield and wears Hide Armor, as well as having a bronze holy symbol of Pelor hanging from his neck. Despite his appearances and his strength, which is fairly impressive, he has chosen a life dedicated to the studies of Religion, and is a fountain of knowledge of the deities and their wishes. Anyone who comes to him with a question on Religion will get an answer to the very best of his ability, and anyone who wishes to share their religion has his ears. Aside from that, he's not incredibly book smart, though he's pretty good at figuring things out given a bit of time. He's not much to look at, and he sometimes comes off as having two left feet, but he's rock steady in frame as well as faith.

Cinnamon is a human ranger. She has a long bow and wears hide armor. When you initially meet her she seems quiet and cold hearted. However, once you have gained her trust she is loyal and kind. She is quick and nimble on her feet. During a fight she will gracefully position herself and use her archery skills to protect her company.
