Not sure where this will end up but if we end up getting some more durdly black then Epiphany Storm would be good. Not sure about sanguimancy... seems like a game winner under the right circumstances.

You should stay away from Born of the Gods then. But I have no argument with your pick...

This is the only medium I can stomach to do this draft. Thanks to CommanderGreven again.

So far we have taken Mogis and 2 crummy black cards. See no reason not to consider playing a different color, and green is a good friend of red. Can always splash for Abyss.

Swordwise Centaur.

That is a late Centaur. Lets pick it and stay open for Green.

I feel like although I want to take the Aspect, we're not in on green enough. Also, that's a significant signal.

In the mean time...draft

Starbreaker is fine.

Aspect? combat tricks look good if we are trying to be aggressive.

I like aspect here for the following reason:

It seems to me that BNG is so weak compared to THS that we may be best off just picking the best cards throughout pack 1 without regard to any color/synergy/deck and then jump into whatever might be open P2. Now maybe Mogis is a big enough bomb to lean us R or B... but frankly we don't have any cards worth a damn except Lyre and that goes with everything. Note that in fake-o test drafts this leads to a lot of 3 color decks so grab fixing.

If we do end up heavy green - Aspect I think is a lot better than starbreaker. If we don't end up green we are not going to splash for either one. And if we are just splashing green our other green card (centaur) isn't good either.

I'm still convinced Starbreaker will make a deck running green if we get into it at this point... even if its a light commitment. Plus its an answer card of sorts...and is light on cost. We could very well take this Aspect and never use it except as a heroic trigger... which we don't have any guys that trigger off of that do we?

Going for even value feels right here since we've wrecked this draft reaching for something that doesn't exist.

One of my points is that your draft typically looks wrecked after a BNG pack.
