I'm sure we're all a bit tired of 2014 by now, or starting to get there.

So let's play 2012 and 2013 again! They had great decks, and it'd be a shame to just let them languish.

PSN name: zerodrone

:)

NOTE: You can easily download the games and all expansions/deck packs (assuming you owned them all) by downloading the "Gold Bundle" for each year. So there's no excuse! Get downloading!

:)

I'm also tired from 2014, who ever want to play 2013 with me on the iPad, mail me.

about 2012: there is no version on the iPad, where do you recommend me to download and play it?
I also made builds for 2012 without trying them, just based on the lists, I would be glad if someone will post here his 2012 builds (very interested to see if they are like my hypothesis builds).

Both 2013 and 2012 sound fun but I would need to drag my co-pilot along with me for 2HG based fun. Especially on 2012, I never played 2HG on that one!

I'm afraid I don't have DOTP for PS3, but I'd like to say that I'd be willing to play some 2012 / 2013 on Steam (Steam name is forum name).

I plan to get 2015 for steam for (and only for) 1v1, but I don't think i'll get the older games or 2014. Too late to get full enjoyment.

I might be down for this.I've got 2012 on PSN, but I've changed user names, so I don't think most of my decks are unlocked anymore, but a couple are. Hit me up on PSN if you see me around (and not on Netflix....Netflix = Wife or Offspring[not the band...the band would be quieter and cleaner, I bet]). Same name as here.

I have 2012, but seeing as I'd have to unlock everything again, I'd rather not play that, I'm afraid. However, if anyone sees me on and wants to play 2013, just message me. My PSN is Pterosaur.

If you want, I'm willing to play 2HG in 2013. I usually avoid the other modes due to Goblin Gangland and Mana Mastery.

Did you delete your save file? As long as you only deleted the game, and not your save data, it should keep all your unlocks and deck builds; all mine are still there.

Hehehe, going back and playing 2013 the other night was taxing on my memory of exactly how I ran those decks. I can only imagine what playing 2012 would be like.

MAYBE I'll do it later tonight....no promises though, just because that game takes like 4 hrs to boot up.

Alright you ya stinker here's a few of my favorites that I'm pretty sure are still intact:

Last March of the Ents:
Spoiler

Stuff McGruff and Friends:
Spoiler

Gobblin' Goblins
Spoiler

Burstin Bubbles
Spoiler

And that's all you get for now.

Definitely some interesting choices in there. I was tempted to make some changes there, to fix some oddities. So just be warned, that Goblin Roar is NOT a good deck, and only made because I wanted a goblin deck, not because there is "something there". And the other decks have a few choices that I don't know the reasoning behind...

That is exactly what I'm afraid I'm going to find. I've became a much better player since then so I wonder what I will find that makes me go... huh?
Shouldn't be too much but I'm expecting a few.
I do remember having some good, solid decks as that was the year I got the "cut to 60" concept and not playing instants on your turn... crap like that.
I'll post up a few of my decks as soon as Olympic coverage is over.

I'm afraid that all of the choices will center on 2hg. Didn't think about that until just now.
That was my mode of choice after Beknighted came on scene.

A lot of the 2012 decks are easy to cut because it's just a matter of "run everything that isn't obviously terrible". Also, only 20 unlocks per deck that year.

:D
I had only started playing MTG in late 2010 with DOTP being my only teaching tool other than getting smashfaced by my buddy that turned me onto the game around his table.
2012 may not show my "obviously bad" learning yet in one or two cards... I hope not, but it may end up so.

I feel like my problem with my builds is that the last time I played, 2013 had been out for a while, but I didn't have it yet. I was bored and experimenting with crazy builds (the goblin DR, an angel based WS, etc.). Even FF got some wacky treatment, with the token aspect getting worked in. And I LOVED that deck, just so I could quote Treebeard the entire time and confuse/anger my wife

Thanks for the builds. I built my dragon roar (reminder - without trying) as mono red, is it worse than the dual color?

So.....

Assuming that it's never going to show up on ps4, is Dotp 2014 still worth it?

I know 2009 really isn't, but is it worth going out and getting the game from 2.5 years ago?

2013 all my decks are cut for Tripp's, and i'm not changing em. I can 2HG with you maybe, but it would be bad.

And it depends if you really want to just try a few decks you never got to play with. I assume you mean 2012, and I can vouch for some of my favourite deck lists of all DoTP on that one. Wielding steel (W equip deck) Machinations (U/B/W artifacts) the black vampire deck, the blue illusion deck (not like MM, this one was mostly control). I never got the deck packs personally, only the expansion, but I loved that.
