If Eye of the Storm is in play, Player A casts Minds Desire (which resolves) and Time Stretch (which resolves), then casts Wild Ricochet, what happens?

To go deeper down the rabbit hole, what happens the next time somebody casts a spell?

[disclaimer: the first situation is very similar to something that actually happened in an EDH game. My opponents just scooped when I cast the Ricochet because they didn't want to deal with the headache]

If the stack is empty, Wild Ricochet can't be cast, because it has no legal targets.

If Eye of the Storm has exiled Mind's Desire, Time Stretch, and Wild Ricochet; and a player casts Lightning Bolt, then Lightning Bolt is exiled, and the player may cast a copy of all four spells in the order of his or her choice. For example, that player might cast Lightning Bolt, then Time Stretch, then Wild Ricochet targeting Time Stretch, then Mind's Desire. In this case, the storm ability would put four more copies of Mind's Desire onto the stack, assuming there were no spells cast before the original Lightning Bolt.

New question:

If I Act of Treason my opponent's Leonin Shikari with equipped Cranial Plating (7 artifacts), does it still give +7, or just the +2 (or +3?) for the artifacts I own (control?)

You gain control of the Shikari, but your opponent still controls the Cranial Plating, so the Shikari will continue to get +7/+0.

If Brion Stoutarm attacks and is blocked, can the defender sacrifice his blocker (assuming a sac outlet) and deny Brion the lifegain?

Yes. If a creature is blocked but has no creatures blocking it, it assigns no combat damage unless it has trample.

Let's say my opponent has Thoptor Foundry and Sword of the Meek. I have a Night of Souls Betrayal in play.

If my opponent activates the Foundry, sacrificing the Sword, to put a 1/1 token into play, this causes the Sword in the trigger (a popular Legacy combo). Since the token will be a 0/0 because of my enchantment (which dies due to state based actions, before the Sword trigger resolves), will the Sword still come into play?

There is no point that a 1/1 is entering the battlefield, as it will enter as a 0/0. This means that the Sword will not trigger and will not return to the battlefield.

Derp, I thought it was a creature with power 1 or less. Could have answered the question if I'd double checked the oracle text.

Question: If you target Phalanx Leader with all three parts of Seeds of Strength, does heroic trigger three times or only once?

~SE++

It only triggers once. The wording is "whenever you cast a spell that targets ~." Since you're only casting one spell, the ability only triggers once.

Interestingly, cards like Wild Defiance will also only trigger once, despite the different wording. (See the Gatherer rulings on Wild Defiance.)

OK, here's one I thought of earlier:

You control a Bear Cub, a Walking Corpse, a Mycosynth Lattice, and a Chromanticore, which is Bestowed onto your Bear Cub.
You then cast Bludgeon Brawl. Your Chromanticore, being an Aura and not a creature, now has Equip X. What happens when I try to equip my Chromanticore to my Walking Corpse?

God, I hate Bestow.

Bludgeon Brawl only affects artifacts, so I don't think it can hit creatures with bestow.

Edit: Missed the Lattice.

Edit: Since the wording on Bestow says that it becomes a creature again, I'd guess you could use the Equip cost to move it around.

God, I hate Bestow.

The Chromanticore will become unattached to the Bear Cub and attached to the Walking Corpse. The Corpse will then get +4/+4 and a bunch of abilities.

To explain the bestow part, a bestowed aura only turns into a creature when it stops being attached to anything. Bestowed auras can be moved without turning into creatures.

To explain the rest, read the Gatherer rulings for Bludgeon Brawl.

Quote:
6/1/2011: While Bludgeon Brawl is on the battlefield, an Aura enchantment that somehow becomes an artifact in addition to its other types will also become an Equipment. Any of its abilities that refer to either "enchanted creature" or "equipped creature" refer to the creature it's currently attached to. It can be attached to other creatures using its equip ability. If you try to attach the Aura Equipment to a creature it can't legally be attached to, it remains where it is. If the creature it's attached to becomes an illegal permanent for it to enchant, the Aura Equipment will be put into its owner's graveyard as a state-based action.

The Cipher keyword is an ability that doesn't target. Here's a quote from the Gatherer rulings:

"You choose the creature as the spell resolves. The cipher ability doesn't target that creature, although the spell with cipher may target that creature (or a different creature) because of its other abilities."

As such, any creature you control is a viable option for Cipher - up to and including creatures with protection!

If I'm attacking a player with (insert arbitrary large amount of zombies here) and I have a Undead Alchemist, and the defending player as a Pariah's Shield equipped to an indestructible creature, do they still mill?

No, because no damage is dealt to the player.
