it must always be in tune because it doesn't work with strionic resonator

If we're forcing, Bolt of Keranos....

but I'd rather take the best card being passed... and that Akroan Skyguard is a monster.

TLDR; Greven, just ignore me for the count here since I cannot fundamentally agree with a turn 1 multicolor force but I'll help more as we go.

I think Bolt is comparable to Skyguard. At least for now, not having played with the set yet. That one toughness seems like an invitation to a one-for-two when you try to stick, for example, an Ordeal or a Chosen by Heliod. Or a combat trick. Seems like you need to have an answer for their answer in hand.

Warchanter is an evasive 3/3 for 5. Pretty solid. And its a Minotaur :V

Pick is Bolt, if we had taken orintarch it'd be Akroan Skyguard.

The interesting question the early in the set is whether or not a pick 4 akroan skyguard is a real signal. 3 uncommons out of the pack. There are a few white uncommons that I would take over skyguard... one of them being ornitharch.

Warchanter is only evasive the N+1 time you attack. So it's not evasive against against any board with a 3-power creature within 1 turn of casting. If it had haste it'd be something.

Bolt although I almost voted the other way as a token nod to pick 4 diversification. Frankly, a RB deck without burn is too horrible to contemplate (more on that later tonight!)...
