This is my contest. Join at any time. Rounds will last as long as I like. Cards will be graded as I choose. Winners will get points as I say. If you suck at balance, create a card with a homebrew mechanic, or create a strictly Un-card, leave. All rounds will take place in this thread. Check back regularly.
Current Criteria (Round Four)

Round Four
Clearly I don't have enough time to get these grades done.
I will only score you if I like your card or find it to be of some merit. I will always give comments, but points is another matter.
FLAVOR AND POWER CHECK ARE HUGE. Just saying. Some people may(are) be wondering why their score isn't as high as it should be (and why others are higher). Here are the two biggest reasons. 1) Flavor was mismatched or missing. 2) Power check! I'd rather have another One With Nothing than another Island. This doesn't mean you have to, or should, cater to the weak. Just make sure your card is in check.
p.s. The total amount of points given is, for the most part, based off participation.

Lazy Bones Creature – Skeleton Lazy Bones cannot be sacrificed. If Lazy Bones would die, return it to the battlefield tapped and end the current turn. Lazy Bones, sleepin' in the sun, how ya gonna get your day's work done? Never get your day's work done, sleepin' in the noon-day sun. - Kithkin Rhyme 1/1

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders - The most famous of which is "never get involved in an thread with GM_Champion" - but only slightly less well-known is this: "Never go in against AzureShade when card design is on the line!"
Seismic Empath Creature - Ogre Shaman Whenever ~ attacks, return target land card from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped and attacking. That land is a 3/3 Elemental creature in addition to its other types until end of turn. 3/3 A roar for that which cannot cry out, a fist for that which cannot strike, a soul for that which lies forgotten.
Humble Return Instant (R) Return target creature card from a graveyard to the battlefield under your control. It looses all abilities and becomes a 1/1. "Death is a humbling experience for two reasons. Firstly, the illusion of your own immortality is shattered. Secondly, the bowel evacuation." - Nicol Bolas and his soiled reputation
Rakdos Revival | Sorcery Return target creature from your graveyard to the battlefield. If was spent to cast Rakdos Revival, it gains Haste until end of turn.

Ravenscar Necromancer Creature - Human Wizard , : Return target creature card with a converted mana cost equal to X from your graveyard to the battlefield tapped. No rest for the weaklings. 2/2
Perfect originality is overrated and often ugly. The best and most beautiful cards I've ever seen were clearly inspired by something else. Cards are not entirely unlike living organisms in this regard. All the good ones are a result of long evolution; the 'original' ones are either mono-cellular or mutant aberrations.

Repurposed Limbs Sorcery [U] As an additional cost to cast ~, sacrifice a creature with converted mana cost X. Return target creature card with converted mana cost X from your graveyard to play. "I'm sorry to say but I'm going to have to terminate you. Don't worry though, the position has been filled."

Possibly. I think the X makes it more elegant and easily readable though. :O

The X in the additional cost to cast is linked to the X in the actual effect itself. I was thinking of Chill Haunting when I made this card.

Torturous Memories | Instant Choose target attacking creature. Put target creature card onto the battlefield under defending player's control blocking that creature. If those creatures have the same owner, the attacking creature gets -3/-3 until end of turn. He was trained to strike down all in vengeance of the fallen. Except the fallen.
