New to NGA forums, was directed here from the Wizards of the Coast PbP Haven. Was looking to get a game setup there with the Rise of the Runelords story line.

1. Pathfinder

2. Standard Fantasy

3. 3 players (There are 4 players total but i have one reserved for someone that i know personally that will be posting regularly.)

4. PbP via WotC Group

5. Starting Level 1

6. Average Gold for class. Additionally a masterwork weapon of your choice.

7. Paizo Source only. No Psionics.

8. The standard races apply but if you'd like to create one we might be able to make something work based on the race creator.

9. 18 pt buy for Pathfinder. Starting HP for first level is maximized, 2 traits, Hero Point System.

10. Yes for alignment. Evil need not apply.

11. Multiclassing is fine, so long as it remains Paizo Source.

12. Players are on the Honor System for their dice rolls, personally I use Invisible Castle to keep myself honest.

13. Emerging Guns (if you want to play a gunslinger)

14. Feel free to have a background on where in Varisia you are from. If you're not from varisia, from where in Golarion do you hail and why have you come to the SwallowTail Festival. Is it simply another stop in your journey abroad?

15. Hack n slash and RP, some puzzle solving, but not much.

16. Paizo Source Only please. Ask me if you'd like to try something else but i'm more willing to consider players that have standardized things.

Other: if you have run or played in the Rise of the RuneLords story, please let me know, i'm trying to give players a chance to play if they haven't done the story as opposed to those who know it.

Saw a link here from the Play-By-Post Haven eh? I wonder who did that... hope it wasnt that Bounty Hunter person, never trust those mandalorians!I'd certainly consider joining, I'm looking to play more pathfinder and your rules are right up my alley, but sadly I'll be out of country in a month and a half and dont yet know if I can maintain much of an online presence.

It sucks that WotC still hasnt installed a dice roller... I played play-by-post games there for near a decade and the whole time we had to rely on linking to sites like Invisible Castle. The company that OWNS D&D doesnt even have dice on their community site... the irony. Thats why I'm so glad we've got the build in dice rollers here on NGA, makes things a breeze.



Anywho, welcome once again, and good luck on your hunt for players! I know we've got some quality ones here, and if any of the regulars are still around on PBPH there were some grand people there as well.

Pathfinder is my favorite system, and I'll join up! I'll come up with a character sooner or later. Maybe Summoner....

So, I was looking at the 18 points for my character and I noticed this on the SRD:

Table: Ability Score Points
Campaign Type|Points
Low Fantasy|10
Standard Fantasy|15
High Fantasy|20
Epic Fantasy|25

Just making sure, but we're sticking with a non-traditional 18 points?

Yeah I ran it with 15 points and kept killing parties left and right, I ran it with 20 and they steamrolled everything. I've found 18 to be a happy medium.

DEX = 7
CON = 7
INT = 13
WIS = 16
CHA = 18
(no idea where my +2 is going yet, and I might swap INT and WIS)
Bipedal Eidolon
Level 1 feat = Extra Evolution
Human Feat = ??? Dunno. Probably Combat Casting.
Masterwork Item = Sword-Cane

That's as far as my thinking has gone so far.

Just had it pointed out that this is gonna be run on the WotC site.

Any chance you'd be willing to run it here on NGA? I really can't deal with the WotC forums, not to mention we actually have a built in dice roller here. Seriously, if you're recruiting anywhere else, how about telling them it can be run right here? I'd love more roleplayers to come over and really get the Play by Post section rolling.

The thread is 2 years old, the OP has made two posts in total and one of the posts in the thread claims that it's dropped. What could possibly make you believe it's still open?
