Or Conspiracy.
Honestly, I think this is hilarious. It'd be nice to actually read it, but I'll wait for someone to cipher this out. Too much work otherwise.

From what I can tell, it's jibberish and not a cipher.

Xzjntzu Agkk: Eswx 6, 2014

Should say:

Release Date: ???? 6, 2014

But that would mean a k would be a t or an e at the same time. I get the feeling it's just random typing for fun to see if people will try and figure it out.

Random typing would suck it that might be it.

It's been solved.

Plug in the phrase "GVYJTHQXGR"

It's a multiplayer draft-centric format that has shenanigans going on at each stage of the game, including drafting.

I do like the picture of the five dudes just standing around. They look interesting.

The five dudes are intriguing indeed.
Now I'm just curious how far they're pushing this.
What if... we got a new walker in this set?

Why would it have been jibberish? That would be a really lousy way to promote the set.

I'm intrigued by the narrative implications of the set's theme and the cards we've seen so far. I don't recognize anyone on the list as being creative team people but I only glanced at it.

Because wizards is silly and they could have hid the correct page somewhere.

I want them to be a CYCLE. There's five of them, and hell, one of them appears to be dead. :o

@Keeper, I don't recognize Dan Helland or K. Joseph Huber. Everyone else on that list is in Design or Development or is Matt Tabak, so unless someone's moved to creative, no one in creative had input on the mechanical direction of this release.

I don't think that's necessarily a good thing or a bad thing, as much as it is a thing.
There was an inherent flavor to Planechase and Commander and Archenemy, but none of them really dramatically advanced Magic's overall narrative, so I wasn't really expecting this to, either.

Interesting, the librarian has a watermark.

That suggests factions.

It's most likely about guilds of spies. The watermark is a wax seal.

This is inspiring me to try and make planar pirates again.

It's possible that the watermark denotes a card that does something while you're drafting.

So it's not silver bordered? Strange. Between the "funky strangers gathered for a party" theme I'm picking up on and the apparent insanity of the whole theme I had this pegged as an Un set.
I'm definitely looking forward to this. A little worried though. It says the MRSP is $3.99 and as I understand boosters in the States typically go for $3. I'm a little anxious about what this ill cost all us Canucks.
I'm betting they promote it by reprinting a bunch of classic cards with silly pictures. I always thought Un sets should do that. Imagine Storm Crow with over the top epic art, the original Wrath of God playtest art or a [your favorite card] with a Goblin Sharpshooter style makeover. Beautiful.

I don't buy a lot of physical boosters, but MTGO booster packs cost $3.99, and I was under the impression that paper packs (at least in terms of MSRP) cost the same.

So this really isn't a price jump.

What that does mean, though, is that you can't expect these packs to be full of as much power as the $6.99 Modern Masters packs.

Average for new boosters that they're pushing is 3.49, and when they go into moratorium price jumps to 3.99 on average. So really, it isn't that unusual.

Mrsp for boosters is always 3.99 I thought, but they never sell for that.

My store (FCB Comics and Games in Alpharetta, Georgia) sells them for 3.75 or 3 for 10 (10.69 with tax).
I think that a store buys them for way less, something like 2.90, so I've heard of everything between 3.50 and MSRP used before.

I pay $5 tax included for my boosters. But we're getting off topic now.

I am so sorry for you TPmanW, (also you should know by now that there is no preventing getting off topic).
