I've heard of of Planescape but am not well versed in it. I didnt get to play much growing up so ive only been able to really delve into stuff the last half decade or so.

Why does this thread have more activity than the actual game thread?

The same reason you have more talking between players / DM and casual conversation at a RPG table IRL than you do in character speaking? *shrug*

It just feels weird that the in character thread is so dead.

Well to be fair we lost half the party and had to scrounge up some new people, and were undergoing that 'getting everyone on the right track' phase. For the past few pages my character has more or less been hanging out with the first mate and hasnt socialized with the group yet, but I've also been really really busy in real life. Speaking of which ... due to weather, my plane has been cancelled, so theres that. I'm not going out of state this weekend, but now I just dont know what I'm doing...heh.

I'll be making another post momentarily.

As for my lack of posts I'm kinda just killing time until the whole arena thing is done and we can get underway. I mean proving ourselves is fun and all but it seems to have just stopped recently.

I was hoping that, since we weren't being tested, we could wander around town together for a day and maybe find a sidequest or something.

At least thats the jist that I was gathering.

I got that impression too. It's why I stopped role-playing. I was expecting a scene-shift any moment and it just didn't happen.

Yeah, sorry guys. I was doing parallel NPC sheets for pit-fighting, and then that kind of got scrammed since no one seemed interested (not really). And, I get a lot of my role-playing done during lunch at work, but the last two days have been kind of slammed. So, apologies. Tonight is kind of catch up night for me as I was just too wiped out yesterday to do anything other than go to sleep.

I hope to have Ruwin's cleric done by tomorrow evening, and then Fish is just left. But we can do a side-quest in town (in fairness to me, the arena idea kind of was a side-quest for something different, but the ideas don't always work out as you wish). No worries.

My write up of Southport gives me something totally different you guys could go all the way in on, and getting there will give me enough time to finish the sheets before any hacking and slashing. Since that seems to be the consensus, no problems! See IC.

Noot would chime in, but she's off doing stuff behind the scenes (which is what I asked for anyways), but once everyone is back on the ship she'll show up with party favors.
