Good thing you decided on that Mystic last pick.

Now that we have Stoneforge, Equipments are way more valuable. Collar.

Kind of surprised that both Shriekmaw and Putrefy table'd. Not sure which one I like more. Voting for Putrefy now, but not opposed to picking the other one.

Shriekmaw

Solid body, evasion and can be early removal too.

about the only argument I can see for Puteify over shriekmaw is that it is tech against our artifacts.

So far we have 3 artifacts, and there is 1 Putrefy. We'll be okay.

Putrefy

Really now. Instant speed versus sorcery speed. No restrictions against non-artifact, non-black. Why is this even a question? A 3/2 fear body? In the most powerful format ever?

a 3/2 fear body that can carry a basilisk collar or a behemoth sledge. Instant vs Sorcery is important yes, but the creature is not as useless as you think.

It's not that it's useless, it's that we will probably find enough as good or better critters, and that I don't want removal with limitations - not hitting artifacts and black creatures seems enough of a drawback to pass on the body.

Anything can carry the Sledge or the Collar.

I think you are underestimating the utility of a dual card. But instant speed is important.

These picks are all over the place. I'm surprised no one's mentioned Gavony.

Maw is my pick. Cards that can do multiple things--like be creatures and removal--are generally better than removal.

Shriekmaw can wear pants and wield spatulas, so that.

Reanimate

Good in our colors and all of our creatures have ETB effects.

Reanimate.

Shriekmaw+reanimate seems hilarious, control magic for 2 cards,3 mana and some life points or ashes to ashesthat plays a 3/2 fear for free from our hand or control magic +accursed spirit for 6 mana and some life points.
