I think it's your connection, because I can see them all just fine.

I was actually going to draw you a single pane that said...

"So a Cleric, a Ranger, a Monk, and a Rogue walk into a bar..."

Was just talking to Scott Kurtz via twitter about how I should stop being lazy and pick up drawing again and do a Pathfinder comic. Mentioned that I've not tried messing with colored art or digital art, and that its mostly been pencil on paper, and linked an image or two. According to him I'm "Off to a good start."

Now someone buy me a tablet to experiment with. =P

Tell you what, you buy me a tablet and I'll buy you one. I have to buy a cheap one though because I'm broke.
In any case. Congratulations on the kudos. Scott Kurtz obviously knows his stuff.

Guess ill just cut out the time and buy my own ...sheesh.

Yeah I like Scotts work, and the guys from Penny Arcade too. I recently flipped through his old stuff and watched how his style evolved.

Maybe ill mess around with photoshop via mouse first, see if it interests me.

This one, cause it was the best example of the pencil shading I was talking about.

I prefer to go with Asus. They tend to have value, durability and quality all rolled into one.

Actually I bought an Asus laptop last night as well. I think you misunderstood in regards to the Wacom tablet...its not a computer, its a tablet with pen and mouse to draw on that you connect to your PC.

Slightly off topic but, heres what I bought.

I always wanted to try drawing on a tablet. All the comfort of a pencil, all the edibility and reproducibility of a computer... I miss having disposable income.

I've received the tablet and begging to learn what I can about it. It takes some getting used to, thats for sure; the cursor doesnt work quite like a mouse or quite like a touch screen you'd find on your phone. Its hard to describe, but for now I'm mostly tinkering with it in photoshop using it in place of a mouse to simply do some recoloring and what not, once I'm used to holding it and pointing with it, I'll work on learning to hotkey it and such.

I start a new thread here when I have some stuff worthy of posting... but for now I'm just trying to get used to the feel of a tablet. A lot different from drawing on paper, and in fact may decide to draw on paper, then ink in photoshop.

Which looks something like this:
