Steve Earle is awesome BH!
A song from radio tonight as I was driving tonight reminded me I hadn't heard these guys for a while and because of that had not turned my Wife onto my second favorite Canadian Power Trio.
So funny as this album helped shape a lot of my guitar sensibilities and I played it so much I would ware out needles.
Not hearing the song for at least 20 years and I remembered every word as we jammed to it a few minutes ago.
It's not even the best song on the album.
Check em out if you've never heard.

You are a disappointment, NGA, for not doing the homework I assigned.

Baxer: Yeah, Mutter is their most consistent for me. Reise, Reise is my favorite though. Stein Um Stein is probably their best song.

Nice pick, personally my favorite Rammstein tune is Sonne. Still gives me goosebumps.

Sonne is a sick tune. Mutter is great all around. 10/10 album.

I can't think of an album by them I don't like. Except for Rosenrot, it was pretty bad, but even it had 4-5 good songs.

Spoiler
Oy, I've not hear Triumph in quite some time...I should really work on replacing the deck in my car with the one from my other car so that I can AUX through my phone and listen to more stations. But I'm sorta forcing myself to listen to audiobook stuff for a test I've got coming up... so my morning / afternoon music jams have turned into 'Shoot me now'

Anywho ...back on the topic of music you havent heard in a while and may have forgotten... how about Golden Earing?

Times two even...

Nice to see that this thread has basically become the Youtube Thread V.2.

Just a good way to post music these days.

Posting music is one thing, actually discussing it is another. And nobody (aside from rare instances) is actually discussing it here anymore, just sharing links. This basically is The Youtube Thread V.2.

Baxer: What's your opinion of "Faustian Echoes" by Agalloch? I listened to it recently, I dig it, prolly my second favorite disc behind "Marrow of the Spirit". I don't think it tops Marrow though. Agalloch is probably one of my favorite bands nowadays. They are absolutely ethereal and atmospheric to a point not many bands reach.

This thread needs more harmonica. Some nice blues and folk rock to sing along to.

Agalloch is new to me, I'll give it a listen right away!

Also on the other note, Ill Bill is the older brother of Necro, you probably heard him featuring on some Necro songs. He has made mixtapes with him aswell as other great rappers such as Immortal Technique and Jedi Mind Tricks.
Here is one great video of "My Uncle" featuring Uncle Howie :)

Edit: So I listened to "Faustian Echoes" the full version as I've gathered that there is a part 1 and part 2, I enjoyed the first 10 minutes more I must say, I found myself exhausted after going through the full 20 something minutes but after going through it a second time I got to the same conclusion, but then again the tunes are very intense at certain points they really put distortion on its edge like nothing I've listened to lately, I have a friend who I know will enjoy this tune so thanks for the tip. Also loved how the tunes comes together at 6 minutes into the song or something.

Did someone say "more harmonica"?

I can't find my favorite song by this duo on youtube, but I did find this one. Seen them live a few times (a while ago) and, man do they put on a good show!

And, while the quality of the recording is not great....yes, Mister Satan is playing Guitar, Drums and singing at the same time.

Hell I can barely keep my mind on one instrument at a time.... thats gotta be a nightmare and a half to get down pat.

Harmonica solos count right? Right?

Other wise I can think of at least a few Stevie Wonder or Eric Clapton songs with some harmonica in em... and of course the rest of Blues Travler. *Racks brain for more* Hmm

I understand where you are coming from. I've either been posting music that might be considered different whether it's obscure or maybe old or both in thematic series and if not I try to include a glib as to why I'm posting it.
Lately it's been nonverbal communication of 70's rock and roll between BH and I.

btw, Did I post Bright Mornings Star by the Oysterband?
I can't remember, I'll have to look.
If the conversation is surrounding harmonies I would post that without any explanation.
If you look back at my posts you'll see the pattern but in the future I will try to include some conversation as to why I feel the need to turn people on to something.
K?

Bounty, Check out Paul Butterfield for some more harmonica stuff.
Chuga Chuga.

I need to put some of my friends two piece up on my website or youtube.
Billy plays guitar and takes care of percussion with a handmade stompbox that has different shaped chambers and mics in them he plays with his feet.
Zac is one of the best harmonica players I've ever heard and I've been a part of the St. Louis music scene for over 30 years so I have a learned opinion on those things.

Edit: Found some already posted. I may put up some studio stuff at some other time.
Enjoy original river music from St. Charles Missouri.
