Seems quite strong, even tho its a 5 drop

There are so many efficient creatures at CMC 4 and below that this affects. We also just got a 3/3 trampler for 3 in the set. I like him.

Very powerful. I'd certainly put him above Ephara. And it's hard to say who will be better between him and Mogis.

Wow, this is kind of awful. So Xenagos basically went from being a demi-God planeswalker to being an awful creature with the subtype "God." I think he was far more capable as someone who could infinitely spawn Satyrs,

Comparable to Urabrask and he saw constructed play. Granted Titans were around then as well which benefited heavily from it.

I don't play Standard and know nothing about the format. I do know he is unplayable in Modern.

I just realised this does not synergize with bloodrush creatures since you can't bloodrush them until after his trigger has resolved. Oh well, regular pump spells still work. Or just team up with a Nova Chaser. It's super effective!

He gives a dude haste every turn. That's pretty danged relevant.

Well this could be podable. Not a bad way to pod something in.

I mostly just like how it is Xenagos again really. He got bored of walking planes already so now he is a god. A god of parties. Havin' a blast.

He's a lot more costly to play than Hammer of Purphoros though, and by the time he'd be coming out on the curve, a lot of people would rather turn their lands into golems than double up the power of one creature, without a specific combo going on. I think he'll be more relevant in commander or limited than standard, and I can't really see him being Modern relevant.

The decks that play Hammer would rather play Reckoner/phoenix on 3. And you're forgetting this sleeves into the GR monsters archetype nicely.

Ramp into this on turn 3, turn 4 kalonian hydra. Swing for 12 trample. If you ramped with mystic+Zhur Taa Druid. That's +2 to the face and 6 (blockable) from the party god himself.
