BOOO **** YAH! Just passed my Divinci Resolve Editor's Certification test with a 96% (and I finished in 28 mins of the 50 allotted after reviewing all of my answers).

One thing to mention, when I opened up the link I just played the video directly. I may have been able to download it, I didn't check, and doing so might resolve the issue: BUT, the video streams at what seems, to me, to be pretty low resolution. Now that could just be my computer, it could also be intentional, or it could just be a drop box issue, which won't matter because I doubt you intend to distribute via dropbox.

But since you are asking for feedback, any of those things, if not intentional, might be problems.

It's formatted for TikTok so it's a 1080 x 1920 HD instead of 1920 x 1080. It was the first one I made, and the frame rate got left at 24 (however this is just 2 static images composite so frame rate shouldn't matter), while all the other videos have a frame rate of 30 (because my friends iPhone shot the source video at 30 frames).

Yeah, I think that actually looks more high resolution to me, but I'm not actually sure, because the pixelation trick you used might just be tricking my eye - meaning it's intentional.

It could be TikTok 30 fps glitching a 24 fps video during the transition. The text and the static images before/after the transition should look sharp.

This type of Q/A between us and me/the band is perfect. He's a friend so I can discuss things with him without worry that a customer might see this as insecurity or inexperience because he's not a customer he's a friend

I do think the live tik-tok version looks higher resolution/sharper. Whether they are glitching or not is probably something you'd know better than I. (and reminder, it could also just be my own computer's idiosyncrasies)/

We watched Beetlejuice Beetlejuice yesterday. It was great. Burton and Elfman did some amazing work. I hear Keaton is changing his name. His real name is Michael Douglass apparently, but he couldn't use that name with SAG for obvious reasons. He's going to start going by and getting credits as Michael Keaton Douglass.



Also, were about 60% of the way thru Fairy Tail by Stephen King. Amazing book that just draws you in. The characters are very well written. A bit of a break in the fourth wall with the hero always referencing things like Jack in the Beanstalk and Rumplestiltskin like he is very much aware that he is in a fairy tale which bothers me at sometimes, it kinda pulls me out of the book and back to reality like: "Oh yeah, I'm reading a book" instead of being engrossed in the world around me.

Yeah lots of stuff is breaking the fourth wall in the last few years. You gotta be really careful how you navigate that.

There’s a show I loved called Mr In-Between. Three seasons. All incredible. The final shot of the final episode in the series has the main character breaking fourth wall for a split second. It’s so perfect you barely notice, you just feel it. The character having this moment with you, before the series ends forever

The author makes some good points but also seems to ignore other factors.

It's not true 4th wall break, its just that the main character is very much aware that he is in a fairy tale and keeps referring to other, real world, fairy tales and it just slightly breaks my immersion and it happens quite a bit.

That's interesting that MAGA and Republicans are top two, and yet separate. So if we add up 1st, 2nd and 4th, we get 64.3% of the vote going to right-wing conservatism in some form. That's an ultra conservative nation, wow. And it's in Europe which trends left.

You've got MAGA (which to me are idiot republicans with no morals or education) and you got your #4 party "Republians with morals" which sounds like Goldwater-like republicans, or own old Mulroney-led conservative party. But you've also got #2 "Republicans" right in the middle. So what's their story? How are the different from MAGA but yet have no morals either?
