With the promise of going through the whole rigamarole of voting for another Day again on the horizon, poor ExLight, who had at this point been buried beneath a Wall of Text for some time, interrupted the discussion to beg and plead for someone to put him out of his misery. I guess being buried under a wall for so long has had an effect on his mental health...

When people ignored these pleas, he cast his vote on himself, undaunted by the idle threats of the Mod that such actions would invariably throw the game for Town. Shortly thereafter, a majority number of votes was compiled (all 2 of them), and poor Ex, finally freed from being buried under a wall, was marched to the gallows to prepare him for a different kind of burial.

As he passed someone in the crowd on his way to the gallows, he heard this person whisper to him, with a chuckle, "To fall from being the one person selfless enough to be willing to risk losing the game for himself in order for the rest of his faction to win, all the way down to being the very person who threw the game for his faction with a self-vote, in the end, is quite a bit of irony, don't you think?"

ExLight turned back to see who it was who taunted him so, but could not see in time before he was pushed up onto the gallows.

And so it was that the Town's hopes of defeating KoD once and for all died with ExLight.
