I have not yet. I think a possible upgrade happens if they get lynched. Then we see what they flip as. Danger to town=upgrade. Non-dangerous person=no upgrade.


So right now I am kinda like a knight that is a rookie. Like a junior knight. I kinda have to prove myself and the arresting process is that way to prove myself.

I find it funny that you say things and then not say why you think that way.

You literally said if you arrest the correct target you'll get promoted and are now saying you have to lynch them to find out if they are the correct target. That's textbook goal moving. It doesn't need explanation.

I do believe you, but I think there might be some misunderstanding on how your role works because what you described still seem to be a bit strange.

Regardless, like I mentioned before I will help the lynch to occur because we need *something* to happen. Don't take this too personally since this isn't a standard mafia game so it isn't like you been particularly scummy or anything.

Imma be honest but Numbers pointing out that your role can be abbreviated as KoD is pretty funny and it would be kinda hilarious if the game title was referring to you (it likely isn't but it would be funny).

Those are not conflicting in any aspect. I didnt explain it well enough the first time, so I gave more info so that some can understand better. I dont know what perspective you are looking at it from, but those two sentences live together in perfect harmony. They even make sense, to put a cherry on top. Maybe you are reading the textbook upside down, I dont know.

Yeah, understandable. But for the sake of towns survival, I will do everything in my power to try to stay alive.

Moving a goal isn't contradictive nor does it imply to be. Essentially you say the goal is x. Then when x is achieved you say "but also..." When there was no but also before. And that's exactly what you did. If your ability is worded a certain way you do not need to puzzle out some hidden unstated extra actions you have to do. If you did exactly what's stated in your pm and didn't promote then the logical conclusion is you didn't target a threat. So you jumping to "well I have to assume the only way I'll promote is if we kill Tevish instead of me to verify he's a threat" is definitely sus.

My PM say that if the person I arrested is "exposed" (PM uses a synonym, it is a "R" word.) to be a threat to town, I get promoted.


Say that, when is a persons alignment revealed to all. At their death, when their alignment is exposed. That is my line of thinking. The only way to know someone's alignment is when the Mod tells us. When does the Mod tell us? When they die.

Revelations in this game could come from many sources. For example, it was revealed that the knights of dominaria are responsible for tevish being blocked. Other abilities reveal players that target a certain way. The wording is vague as you put it but something that is easily clarified by asking the mod for such a thing. Not doing so leads to sticky situations as the present. So now there's no way of knowing definitively if you're confused town as claimed, or if you are simply a loud blocker that had to fashion a half truth to make yourself look townie after you mis-mathed escaping majority. Personally I'm leaning towards the later since Rag jumped in thread wishing town luck before the vote block was revealed, as that indicates to me foreknowledge of non public information, and as a known threat that makes you look infinitely worse.

Yes, you are correct. I should prolly ask Zinger, but to my knowledge, that would seem to be the only way to reveal someone's alignment. How else would you be able to reveal someone's alignment to everybody?

Although the law of the land doesn't force the citizens to vote for the person the Queen had indicated, the populace showed trust in their Queen by doing so anyway.

"Listen, guys, you're making a mistake," OGSniper pleaded. "You're going to need my help in the fight to come. There are not many of us left, and you truly want to Lynch perhaps the only person among you who can make sure KoD's accomplice remains behind bars? That's absurd!"

"What, you mean the guy that was locked up this morning without due process or cause? That was you?!" Shouted one concerned bystander.

"Yeah, what'd Tevish even do to earn your suspicion? The guy has been a model citizen!" Shouted another.

As the noose was placed over OGSniper's head, he looked down at the dwindling populace and frowned. "Truly, I was doing what I thought was best for the Town. And even now as I stand here about to die, I still hope for the best outcome for you all. May god have mercy on you, because with me gone, KoD certainly won't."

That was a close one you guys, I didn't think KoD was gonna be able to keep his arms waiting much longer. He's not the man he used to be being undead and all.

Being dead for a few years has taught me patience.

The sun rises over the barren land of Dominaria... It seems that even nature has fled from the corrupting influence of the Lich King.

As those who are left stir from their beds to do a head count, they find no Mint Elv among them. A search is proposed to find the body, but the tired populace decides there is little point—everyone knows what has happened.

Still, in spite of organizing no search, a body is discovered, as the corpse of Mint Elv washes up on the side of the river a few hours into the morning. Mutilated almost beyond recognition, the people of Dominaria are especially shocked to discover that half their body is covered in fur as if they were in the middle of a transformation when they were killed!

I guess even a monstrous curse such as lycanthropy can't save you from the Lich King...

i think i've already said that the necromancy wincon is to have all traitors to the crown killed, and so its possible that zinger's LyLo declaration is referring to a different faction's game ending condition, or that there are few enough traitors left alive that the game could end that way tonight

i have no particular stake in the lynch (or no-lynch) though. I'm still necromancy aligned and at this point i imagine I'm stuck this way.

I can't contribute too much to the thread without breaking geas but i figure I'd throw my 2 cents out there for popcorn value

Depending on who entails that bingo card it's possible you're on the cusp of winning. Or more so on the cusp of being unstoppable, likely due to a majority of the remaining players not having a vote.
