I for one try to make sure my facts are straight before I start accusing someone of something.
You don't do a particularly good job of it. For the note you're referring to, the context should make it clear that means Abi and Ex. But let me break it down a little more.
You contest the points about the WoT. There's a link to KoD Must Die 1 in the OP. KoD's role from the previous game, including the details of his Wall of Text, are there for you to see at any point.
You go on and on about silver bullets versus zombies or werewolves, a point which I didn't even engage with previously because it was so utterly baffling to make a sticking point.
What does it matter what the normal lore is? This is a game of mafia. Most abilities are extremely abstracted and labeled in ways that are simple and iconic rather than necessarily accurate. This isn't a history of folklore class! "Silver Bullet" is usually a perfectly fine way for people to say "Special weapon or tactic what kills the bad things". That seems to be primarily the context in which Ex meant it, and I don't think it takes any egregious leaps of logic nor any excessive reading into the matter to come up with that claim.
And you wanted us to lynch Abi. Yes, normal game, go ahead and lynch a claimed survivor. There is, after all, a lynch every day in a normal game. Somebody's got to go. And in a normal game we don't have the implication that lynched individuals might be coming back from the dead as scum zombies. If you had a reason -- a good, compelling reason -- to believe that Abi was lying to us and using the survivor claim to deflect from being a legit scum individual then sure, by all means, drive for her lynch. But you didn't establish that, and her claim is largely credible, especially when she mentions interactions with our queen that Queenie has not denied. That kind of backs up the idea that Abi might, ya know, be some kind of foreign tea merchant. We don't strictly know that we get a zombie from
every mislynch, but I think the phrasing I quoted earlier suggests that anyone who winds up dead through not being soul-eaten is at risk of coming back, and the only mechanism of coming back we currently know of would bring the victim back as scum. So lynching a survivor in our position is +1 Scum.
In essence, you've decided to shoot your shot, and you picked the two individuals in this game that
actually have evidence pointing to their innocence to flag as guilty. I know OMGUS isn't usually great reasoning but your calls are so flagrantly backwards that, on reflection, it really does look like scum wanting to blow enough smoke to take down someone who should be pretty widely and freely regarded as town. Which, if you can pull it off as scum, is not actually a bad move since correctly ID'd non-scum (whether formally confirmed or soft confirmed) are a huge threat to Scum's ability to reach endgame. They're also two individuals that KoD might not want to om nom nom himself: Ex is held in check by the Wall and Abi might be off-brand to kill, so getting either one "out of the way" through non-nk means would be good for him. Fortunately, it seems like nobody is biting the conspiracy theories
Thus, the theory that you are scum has better backing than the opposite.
Well, first off, I said I try to make sure.
Yes, I have gone back and look through the first game. Wall of Text is a roleblocker. But do we know for sure that it is the same for this game? Thats the point I am trying to make for that.
For the silver bullets, I said "in the fantasy/horror/folklore of our world" I literally put that there because, I am very familiar that this aint our world and if I didnt, I would get grilled because "Well, erm, this isnt our world in this mafia game." Soooooo, it seems like we are on the same page for that.
No, I said my first lynch pick would be Abi (In which, I havent voted because it is a weak case.) I, unlike others, have not pressured or told anyone to vote for a certain person. If I have, please show me the post and I will apologize to everyone. I also fully understand the risk of lynch a survivor. Thats also another reason why I havent voted for Abi.
They have evidence pointing to their innocence? I would very much like to see this evidence.
Look, how many times do I have to say this, there is literally no dirt on anyone. I like to be helpful. Nobody else is doing much of anything. So I reread the entire thread to look for the smallest things. This is what I came up with. Abi hasnt contributed one thing and Ex has done stuff in a questionable manner(To me) so I leave him some questions. Those questions still havent been answered.
I will say that some of your case against me seems to be built upon assumptions. That doesnt make a very sturdy foundation.
Everything should be questioned and all angles viewed. That is all I am trying to do.
