The Day of the Royal Wedding is finally at hand. Undaunted by the sudden and shocking appearance of the deceased old king roaming the land of Dominaria as a Lich hellbent on killing people who slighted him, the Queen and her Fiancé are finally tying the knot. A big celebration is thrown at the palace. Officially, everyone in the nation is required to attend; unofficially, most are being kept out by an army of knights due to the threat of KoD's return. Those who do pass the rigorous screening process could tell you what a wonderful party and celebration it was. Allegedly, the cake alone had 14 stages, if you can believe it. Despite his saltiness at these proceedings, the old King did not make a sudden appearance, preferring instead to plot his revenge from afar.

And so it was that the third Day of this game drew to a close, not with a Lynch but instead with a coronation. Shadow amber and Queenie were pronounced husbando and wifey, and amber was officially crowned as the New King of Dominaria.



Everyone rejoiced, except those who are (un)dead.

It's not the wedding you have to abide by, but the regicide laws that have nothing to do with you. Dominaria is a land steeped in patriarchal tradition and you are but a cog in its history. Don't ever forget that.

The gates of the castle courtyard burst open with a clang in the dead of Night as Paranoid King flies through them at breakneck speed like a man possessed... He's fleeing for his life, for the physical embodiment of death itself stalks him in the form of the old King...

"Come back here, coward! You share the name of someone I once knew, so I think I will greatly enjoy feasting on your soul!"

PK throws himself over the ledge of the courtyard's hedge maze, hoping against all odds that the foliage would buy him some time. To his horror, the hedge wall wilts and dies before the Lich, creating a direct path to him.

"You know, PK, you really aren't 'paranoid' if your delusions of people trying to get you are real! HaH HaH HaH!"

Black tendrils of magic barbed necrosis extend themselves from KoD's outstretched hand, wrapping around the fearful PK and binding him in place. PK lets out a yelp of pain as he is dragged back towards KoD.

"Please... I never betrayed you!"

"Oh, but you did! You did! I know you BLESSED the happy couple before their wedding Night. You might as well have spit on my grave!"

"I had no choice! It was an order from the Monarch herself to use my magic to protect them from you!"

"Fool. You think your magic could've saved them from me?! You've thrown your life away and for what, the illusion of protection?! Nothing can stop me! I'm TOO POWERFUL. Here, let me show you!!"

"No! Please! AaaaAaAAAUUUUUGH!!"

PK's desiccated husk falls limp to the ground, where it remains until it is found in the castle courtyard the next morning...

It is now DAY FOUR

Paranoid King has been killed and their soul has been CONSUMED by the Lich (they may not be revived as either Living or Undead). They were the Town-Aligned Queen's Bishop.

well I targeted PK, and found that he blessed the couple. not that it matters since PK got some suckface from the Old King.
