As the Dawn rises on a brand new Day in the land of Dominaria, the scared populace remains mostly hidden in their homes. Who could blame them with a Lich hell-bent on revenge roaming about? A few of the braver citizens eventually do come out and band together with some of the Knights to go knocking door to door, to make sure everyone is accounted for...

They don't have to search for long before they come across L41N's discorporated husk of a body draped over the fountain square.

As they pull fae down, the coroner goes over the corpse... "I don't get it... L41N was alive and well yesterDay, but if I didn't know any better I would have guessed fae died years ago."

The gathering crowd of onlookers murmurs as to what this might mean. Finally, the Royal Bishop steps forward with an answer... "I know what this is," they said. "This is what happens when a soul is violently ripped from a person's corporeal body. I'm afraid L41N isn't just dead... Faer immortal soul has been consumed by the Lich, never to roam this land again in life, or death."

The crowd gasps in terror. Finally, the Baker, fresh out of the hospital (albeit in a wheelchair), says "Wait... Does that mean if we are killed by KoD, we aren't just denied our chance to live out this life, but also the next?"

The Bishop nods, grimly. "I'm afraid so... There's no heaven for L41N anymore. Perhaps there's no heaven for any of us, if we let this go on for much longer..."

There's a moment of silence before finally the Weaver said "Sorry, I just remembered I'm supposed to go visit my aunt Margaret in the very distant kingdom of Farawayland. Don't know when I'll be back, if ever, soooo if anyone needs me I'll be packing my bags."

Yeah... Something tells me she won't be the only one packing her bags toDay...
