If KoD is using dark magic to control Rag and KoD himself has this dark magic himself, then maybe someone put that dark magic on him, so really, there is a bigger bad guy in command. I mean, we dont know how he came back, so it is possible that someone else brought him back.
I know this isnt a lot and it could be a coincidence but, when we were confirming that we understood our role, Storm responded with a "Condemned", with it being in a shade of purple, much like the purple that we are seeing the bad guys used in the little dialogue with Rags resurrection. Not enough to do anything but just something I noticed.
You poor sweet summer child Youre not in the discord ser er so you dont have access to the meta that is KoD is literally the devil. KoDiD1 was a meme game where he was voted up immediately. This is the fallout.
I normally respomd with Condemned, as i am the day 1 lynch usually. Weird how nobody even acknowledged Necromancy [b]Vote OGSniper[/b]

You are correct, I do not have all the info nor experience you guys have unfortunately.
All in all, I saw something and I said something. I wasnt pressuring you. I was bringing everything to the table.
I'd dare say that prediction was suspiciously good, except we're not in the infoless joke D1 sans agency still.
Right now what we know is that somehow KoD has returned, and Rag is a zombie.
The first KoD Must Die was something of a puzzle game of working around the seeming invincibility of a known "scum". Filling out the situation, the Lynch wasn't even really a tool that Town had in that game. It was very nonstandard mafia, but it was still a logical game.
I'd presume, because Zinger is good at this game design stuff, that this game is similarly still a logical game with some degree of intentional balance. That's why it's not totally shocking that Rag returned and really not that shocking that KoD is here either: they were both on the player list from the start, so it makes sense that they should have a chance to win.
At the same time we, in theory, do have a lynch this game. If I read the rules in the OP right it's 100% up to Queenie whether a given day has a lynch or not, but presumably it's something that we want to do.
The rub is that KoD and Rag have been made fully open, which means that decent game design would suggest that hitting them would not be a pure solve. If the game were as easy as "Lynch KoD, Lynch Rag" that wouldn't be much fun for anybody.
There are three basic courses of action. One is to try for KoD, and probably with the whole general Zinger-Game rigamarole where if it doesn't take once we try it again in case immunity was one-shot, then if that doesn't take we try to get totality in case there's a threshold thing, and in the mean time we're burning days on something that MIGHT be necessary but might also be a pointless and wasteful shuffle.
Option two is to go for Rag, who's not the main big shot, just to try to clip wings. Less potential reward, but less risk of things failing outright.
Option three, we hunt for the actual solution. A solution we don't know for sure exists. This is similar to option one, except making normal lynches or holding fire (there might be a reason Queenie is given the opportunity to not have lynches occur) rather than just throwing everything at KoD
I guess option four is with KoD demanding people kneel we could have somebody test it to see if we can all kumbiyah as cult but I think the best case scenario of that is turning this scenario into Queenie Must Die which might or might not be actually better. I'm not brave enough to be the first to investigate.
I have a feeling going for Rag might not be useful but I think I know how to deal with her.
"That winter, the fireplace was never without a crackling blaze in its belly. The boiled wine we drank was undoubtedly middling and cheap, but she said, with a smile, "I've never had wine this good before." And though I didn't say anything, I felt the same way."
Interesting stuff. My best guess at this point is that we need to have a new coronation ceremony, then use the powers of the crown to mega-destroy KoD once and for all. I'd personally like to have the wedding as soon as possible. And I can't help but notice this:
"That avoidance of justice ends today, for the law prevents a new King from being crowned so long as the former King's killers yet live..."
I'm not sure if Rag still counts as alive. If they do, I think the trick is that we need to kill them again, have the ceremony, then mega-destroy KoD.
KoD, meanwhile, would want to kill Amber and reanimate them with dark magic so that they can hold onto the crown. All just speculation, of course, but it's what I'd want to do.

You are Zenon, Town 1-shot Desperado. You’re known for posting a lot (namely in anime gif form), playing a lot, and, most importantly, making snap decisions – particularly in the endgame. In a recent game, Wild West FM, you were taken to final 3 and immediately voted the last wolf, resulting in a LyLo that was strictly speaking over in four minutes and two posts. This game, we’re giving you the chance to accomplish a similar feat..

ZPx3 Presents...
Once upon a time, the land of Dominaria was an insufferable place to live in because of its tyrannical and opinionated King. Nobody liked him, which suited him just fine because he didn't like anybody except his waifu, the Queen. However, deposing him was difficult because he was both Lynchproof and Bulletproof and even were those not a thing, none could surmount his super move: Wall of Text. Indeed, if not for a miracle, the King of Dominaria would continue to reign for countless more years. How boring.
But thankfully, all that changed one fateful day when a rag-tag group of upstart rebels hatched a plan to overthrow the seditious monarch once and for all—a daring plan that relied on the betrayal of the Queen. You see, although the Queen loved her hubby very much, she loved her people even more, and couldn't stand to watch as they were helplessly put to the slaughter at the whims of the King. So it was that the Queen sided with the rebels and betrayed her King, giving them the opening they needed to finally end his miserable life. And at long last, the land of Dominaria knew peace.
Flash forward to today. The King is dead; long live the Queen. It has been four long years since KoD had to die, and in all that time the widowed Queen grieved his loss. Recently, during one of her annual tea parties, a travelling tea merchant asked if she would ever remarry, and something in her heart told her to say yes. She had grieved long enough, it was time to find herself a new King to rule by her side over the land of Dominaria—and find one she has! Indeed, it is a joyous time to be Dominarian, for a new King is about to be crowned, and a royal wedding means good times for all.
But not everyone was happy to hear about this announcement. There are a few people left in the land who remain loyal to the former King, and see the Queen's aforementioned betrayal as the treason that it was. Rumours are abound that they are gathering to stop this sham of a royal wedding to a man who could never replace the one true King of Dominaria. Will you side with those who seek to avenge the murdered King? Or will you choose to defend the treasonous Queen and the peace that her sacrifice bought? Only you will know in this exciting new mafia game appropriately titled...
The Rules
Rules of Dominaria
1. Read and obey all the rules. If you don't understand a rule, ask me about it (through PM).
1. a) If your Role PM or anything the GameMod sends you privately contradicts a rule, it takes precedence.
2. Respect your fellow players and the GameMod. 3. Participate in the game.
3. a) If you're going to be away for more than 48 hours, please let me know.
4. Once you've been removed from the game, cease all posts in the game thread. Not even a 'Bah' post. 5. Deadlines are hard-set. If I am late for a deadline anything posted past the deadline won't be counted. 6. Any or all of the following will be punishable with a dreaded ModKill:
6. a) Deleting or editing posts 6. b) Posting in white, unreadable or 'invisitext' 6. c) Direct quoting any part of any PM received by the GameMod (paraphrasing is allowed) 6. d) Communicating out of thread without explicit permission from the GameMod 6. e) Referencing other ongoing mafia games in which you or another player are/have been a part 6. f) Posting during the Night Phase (but, see rule 1a) 6. g) Breaking the community rules of NGA 6. h) Excessive and unannounced inactivity
7. When voting, or unvoting, please make sure you bold your vote or unvote in the format: Vote: GobO_Scarlet —cast your vote in a bright, readable color: Vote:GobO_Fire—or, preferably, do both. If you do not, the vote might be ignored. Also, do not put votes in spoiler tags. 8. If you have a Night action, please make sure to PM me in a timely fashion. If I do not receive your PM, no Night action will be taken (unless specified otherwise; see rule 1a). 9. Your role name and alignment will be revealed on death. The PM won't be posted until the game is over. 10. Lynches only happen on Days the Queen has decreed. On such days, a Lynch can only occur by reaching a clear majority (a number of votes equal to half the number of Living players, rounded down, plus one). 11. Days will last approximately 72 hours, and Nights will last approximately 36 hours.
11. a) I will prolong Nights by 24 hours if they intersect with both Saturday and Sunday. 11. b) Days/Nights can end early if a Lynch is decided or all Night actions are submitted.
12. Remember to have fun and be respectful of fellow players. Do not take anything personally! After all, who knows if the action you are taking personally isn't just a mafia ploy to make you anxious and get yourself killed...
Rules of Dominaria, Appendix A: Glossary of Terms
These terms are defined as follows:
Bulletproof. A bulletproof player cannot be killed by actions, but may still be lynched.
Lynchproof. A lynchproof player cannot be voted to be lynched, but may still be killed by actions.
Roleblocked. A roleblocked player cannot perform actions. Passive abilities and votes are unaffected.
Voteblocked. A voteblocked player cannot vote someone to be lynched.
Monster. A non-human creature born of evil magic or a curse. Non-human roles are classified as "Monsters," which has a mechanical impact on their interactions with others.
Rules of Dominaria, Appendix B: Day/Night 1, & the Royal Wedding
There are three phases of the game that behave in a very non-standard manner. Those are:
• Day 1: The first Day of the game will have a Lynch, but there will be no voting. The Day 1 Lynch is predetermined and cannot be changed. As such, the first Day of the game is mostly just a bonus discussion phase, which will last only 36 hours instead of the standard 72. Nobody may submit Day actions for the first Day. • Night 1: The first Night of the game will not be a phase at all. When Day 1 ends, there will be a simple "cut scene" describing what occurs during the Night, after which the game will proceed directly into Day 2, which is the first "normal" Day of the game. Nobody may submit Night actions for the first Night. • The Royal Wedding Day: On any Day after the first of the Queen's choosing, there will be a Royal Wedding, in which all activities will cease while the citizens of Dominaria are attending the celebration. There will not be a Lynch, and no Day actions may be submitted this Day either. The Day of the Royal Wedding will see the Queen's fiancé be coronated as the New King of Dominaria. Like the first Day, the Day of the Royal Wedding will have a reduced duration (36 hours from the moment the Queen announces the Royal Wedding Day is at hand).
Besides these three phases, all Day/Night phases will proceed as normal, and on Days of the Queen's choosing a Lynch will occur as is standard for a Mafia game. Days last 72 hours, and Nights last 36 (unless the Night intersects with both a Saturday and Sunday; see Rule #11.a). Days/Nights can end early if a Lynch is decided or all Night actions are submitted.
Rules of Dominaria, Appendix C: Gendered Roles
There are two roles in this game that have predefined "genders" that are irrespective of the players who play them: The Queen of Dominaria (she/her) and the New King of Dominaria (he/him). It's 2024, and this GameMod firmly supports using proper desired gender pronouns to address people, but much of the lore text has already been pre-written before I even know who at least one of these roles is going to be delivered to. Please be aware there is no intent on the part of the Game's designer to misgender anyone in this game, but the players who receive those roles will continue to be addressed by the predetermined pronouns for them in all of the lore text. Just treat it as a roleplaying experience, as I am not misgendering you, rather, I am simply gendering the character you are playing. If this upsets anyone, please let me know, and I will attempt to address it.
Note: I reserve the right to amend some of the rules and glossary of terms if the need arises.

yes. monsters was always there. does not mean that anyone starts as monsters. for all we know KoD turns people into monsters. i mean a zombie is a Monster, true, but what if KoD can turn people into other monsters. like Rubik into a werewolf, or Lain into a tik tok influencer

As the citizens gathered with torches and pitchforks in hand, the Zombie Ragnarokio desperately tried to sway them from their doomed course.
"You don't understand, listen to me!" She pleaded, but her pleas fell on deaf ears. And perhaps this broken record would be all that would transpire today had it not been for the sudden apparition of the very threat she was trying to warn them about...
KoD, the immortal Lich King of Dominaria, appeared in a puff of smoke, terrorizing the crowd.
"Hah-hah-hah-hah-HAH! You fools!" Taunted the Lich. "You would dare to think I would not reappear in time to stop this sham of a royal wedding? Perhaps I was not clear enough in the total domination of my subjects to instill in them the kind of undying loyalty for which I am owed! No matter, I have returned to rectify certain inequities. Bend a knee, my people, lest you force me to bend it for you." And, as if to illustrate his point, the Lich King grabbed the town Baker from out of the street and bent both of his legs the wrong way until his knees snapped.
The citizens of Dominaria cowered before their former King. Someone eventually cried out "Where are the Knights?!" hoping the royal guards would step up to do something, but unfortunately all of the Knights who bore witness to this shocking turn of events were just as paralyzed with fear as anybody else...
Truly, this was the darkest timeline.
Votecount 2.1
Not Voting (9): Everyone
With 9 Living players, a Clear Majority is 5 Votes.
A public Lynching has not yet been approved by the Crown. Until it is, no votes will be counted.
