I'm not sure about the Volley, IIRC it was good, but Crack is certainly awful. Everybody has a land to sac.

It's a one-mana arcane spell, so its playable in this deck most likely. Not as good as Lava Spike or Reach Through Depths, but probably playable.

We certainly don't need to worry about a Twist being played against us :)

I have a feeling that some counters might fit well in our deck, with all the instant we play and no critters, we can play draw-go, counter or dig.
