Looks pretty balanced at first, but searching for any land instead of just a basic has usually had a premium cost (Reap and Sow)

in theory, yes. in practice it's very rare that that's going to be a better use than as a combat trick.

Your card gives me an idea for a card that can either heal you or damage an undead creature, like holy light in Warcraft. Maybe we could use a batch keyword for undead (like how outlaws work in thunder junction), has this already been done?

I don't like that it's a card that's only castable if you have undead, but also often doesn't care about the buff.

I was definitely really conservative in pushing Black Torchlight, and it'd probably be fine as an uncommon at :2::b:.

I get the intention: any damage to opponents from sources without lifelink would cause its controller to gain that much life. Could cause rules weirdness if you had something similar to Archetype of Endurance that stopped sources from having lifelink

The key difference is how this card works in multiplayer, by encouraging your opponents to attack your other opponents, which is why I made it this way as a card for commander.
