At the beginning of your upkeep, you roll a d20, then enchant creature's controller rolls a d20. Subtract that player's result from your result.
0 or less | Sacrifice Evard's Black Tentacles.
1 - 8 | Enchanted creature gets -2/-2 until end of turn.
9 - 15 | Enchanted creature gets -3/-3 until end of turn.
16+ | Enchanted creature gets -4/-4 until end of turn. When Evard's Black Tentacles is put into a graveyard from the battlefield this turn, return it to the battlefield with a finality counter attached to up to one target creature.
