Gets a "yea" from this particular son-of-a-gun for beer.

I think everyone kind of loves this particular piece (myself included); but with All In already in the Archives, it's kind of a sneaky one as it's already technically part of the M:EM canon.

Hmm. Does that mean that all characters and planes represented in M:EM stories are sort of 'ad hoc' voted into the archive, too?

That does make sense, I just haven't really thought about it. I guess in the case of these songs, it's the "full version," so if anyone reads Ruwin's "All In," they can look in the archives and see the whole thing.

Well, yeah, that's pretty much all it is since the only out-right reference Ruwin makes is the title; you could have made a completely different song/poem titled "Centaur Wine and Noggle Ale" and it still be just as legitimate. The only thing this technically solidifies is having this particular version be M:EM canon.

I remember the issue of all mentioned characters and planes "being voted in by proxy" being discussed at some point on the mothership, but I can't for the life of me remember what the verdict was.

Actually, I think it would be pretty hilarious if, since it is a popular drinking song, that every time you heard it there was a new verse, depending on where you went in Jakkard. If anyone has read any of the Kingkiller Chronicle's by Patrick Rothfuss, I'm imagining something along the lines of "Tinker Tanner", where everyone knows the tune and the general idea of the song, but it just changes wildly from tavern to tavern.

Mostly, I just want everyone to get really drunk and be shouting different words to the same tune in a really crowded saloon, is all. Makes me chuckle.

Anyway, I love this. Voting yea, of course.
