any class you choose is gonna work, more or less. The campaign will work no matter what you decide to do. If you choose a caster, though, I do have a few requirements that I can outline later for roleplay.

I am thinking of playing a caster myself so I would like to hear these requirements you speak off.

For the record I was thinking of playing a Gnome Wizard. The alternate racial trait I was after was Gift of Tongues mostly because it removes Hatred and Defensive Training which I didn't really want for the character concept.

Just so don't have to look them up;
Hatred: +1 attack vs goblinoids and reptilian humanoids
Defensive Training: +4 dodge AC vs Giants
Gift of Tongues: +1 Bluff & Diplomacy, +1 addition language for each rank of Linguistics.

If it's a wizard, you'll be from an elemental tower. Each has a certain attitude and some other requirements. For example, an Air Mage is a bit flighty in personality, and clausterphobic when they can't see the air. They take severe penalties when blinded or underground. That's just one example, and I'm at work, toherwise I'd tell you more about them. There are benefits as well, but we'll get into it later.

Yeah the information for deities wasn't released in the SRD as they are considered Paizo's intellectual property. I don't know if Squinty has anything planned as far as gods go in his campaign however

If I'm understanding the rules correctly you gain a single favoured enemy from taking 'Favoured Judgement'. Scarred Descendent doesn't actually give you an additional favoured enemy but provides you with a bonus if your favoured enemy happens to be the same race as you.

Huh, That's not nearly as fun... I guess I'm going back to the Beacon of Faith trait and Skill Focus (Intimidate) for now...
