So I recently stumbled upon a hard drive from an old computer and it had some of my old pencil drawings it on it.

I think most of these were done when I was like, fifteen, so not exactly anything crazy but figured I'd share none the less.

Now days I'm mostly tinkering with Photoshop and other digital stuff, but its still sorta cool to look back and see what I tinkered with on a sheet of paper and a pencil in the back of class in high school.

I've always sucked at drawing faces, so I gave this card a go just for practice. Seems I never finished it, added the lightning to the eyes and such. I had a bad habit of moving on to the next drawing before finishing the first.








I know this one was finished, but I cannot seem to find the final copy anyway. Oh well, I didnt like the way her face turned out after all.

Inuyasha



I cant say I've ever actually seen Inuyasha, but I was stuck in a hotel on a school trip one time with nothing to do. My roomate for the trip had a few of the comics and it gave me something to do.

Those aren't bad. Why not do original artwork for your characters in the Play by Post?

I've considered it actually, though it has been years since I sat down to draw something on paper.

Most of my stuff around that time was done as a replica of something because I looked at something saw a particular style or feature that I wanted to practice so I tried to recreate it. So I suck at faces, heres a face that I think I could replicate, I do it for practice. I want to be better at making armor look like its form fitting, let me find a picture that does it well and see if I can learn from it.

I'm also not super awesome at color, which is one of the reasons I've not done char portraits yet, pencil art doesnt show up the best.

City in a Bottle or something like that. I'm at work so I don't feel like looking it up, but it's an older card from... Arabian Nights?

Yeah I couldnt think of the name either, and got distracted with other things to go slogging through Gatherer. All I could remember was the bit about "right to be left alone" in the flavor text, but as mentioned above by Glasir it's Feroz's Ban

Been cleaning up my spare 'storage' room and been repacking a bunch of stuff that was in a ton of small boxes by putting it in standarized U-haul boxes, and keep coming across more random drawings from time to time. So heres a Zealot...

Death Knight or Necromancer from Warcraft. I think its a Death Knight...

And theres that Orc Grunt again.

This ones actually pretty decent. It was based off the Animatrix 'Kids Story' scene where he's staring into the computer screen.

This one's not showing up for me. The rest are better than anything I can draw, so I'm going to assume that this one is terrible as an ego boost.

I like the very bad battle droid. He just looks mildly annoyed. Like the droid in front on his just broke wind or something.

Anyone else have issues with the Death Knight one? It works for me, even works in the quoted post.

A common problem in large formations of battle droids.

Now I can see that one, but the two before it are just gray rectangles. Maybe it's my internet or something. Weird.
