A nice way to discover a silly big finisher I didn't knew about :D The "bring another in its place" is the chance to bring another player to 0 life through the siphon part, correct?

Correct. Obviously, the idea would work even better for a card that sacrifices or destroys a creature to bring another one back from the graveyard, but I liked the idea and thought it fit well enough with trying to knock out an opponent.

Thanks for reading!

This one has nothing to do with MTG, but it's one I wrote today that I'm pretty happy with.

The Saddest Smile

Good stuff! I have to admit the last verse made me think, despite everything, about Dearest Perrine :D Thanks for sharing!

That is definitely not the image I had in mind! :)

Thanks for reading, Huey! I was really happy with this one.

This one has nothing to do with Magic, but I like it, so I thought I'd share.

I Never Made the Tea
I haven't been here for a while, but it looks to me like poking my head in was absolutely worth it. This one in particular reads like it belongs in a published anthology. It brilliantly puts into words a thought, a feeling, an experience, a regret that so many of us know. This is art.

Thank you very much! I was really happy with this one, and it remains one of my favorites, specifically the last two lines. I'm happy that it resonated with you, as well.

Thanks for reading!

This one has nothing to do with Magic. I just wrote it for fun, on a whim.

That was awesome! :D Kinda gives me Lewis Carroll vibes, which is definitely a good thing. And not all of your poems need to be Magic-related, but on the other hand, there's probably a fun poem about goblin warfare in there... Or, you know, the old Magic trope of Goblin cards that show goblins being terrible at their job. Then again, your poem doesn't really specify those guys aren't goblins... :wizard:

Thanks for reading! I had fun with this one. Lewis Carroll definitely works, I think, although as I was writing it, it reminded me of Shel Silverstein. And, because of that, I find it interesting and ironic that you mentioned goblins, because I did, in fact, write a poem around here about goblins in war, and it was quite literally a parody of a Shel Silverstein poem! Here is a relevant post:

... This poem is basically a reskin of Shel Silverstein's classic poem "Snowman," which is a favorite of mine. So, my thanks, respect, and apologies to Shel Silverstein!

Goblin Snowmen
