My own sanity, when compared to my master list, no longer matches up with ANY of the known sanities. So, something happened on one or more of the nights to mess with the results. I'm also starting to wonder if someone (ie. JD) messed with my master list, because I'm starting to think that maybe there might be errors on it, based on the intel I've gathered so far.

Let's start actually playing this like a DETHY.

Everyone being forced to investigate Dusky is ultimately a huge boon for town. We know that she is town, which allows us to calibrate every supposed cop based on the results they claimed for her. Assuming for the moment that all living players are cops or scum (and ignoring Zinger's "possible sanities" column, since it is based on his alleged master list):

Skystone: paranoid/insane
Rag: paranoid/insane
Darkstar: naive/sane
KoD: sane
Zinger: cannot be a cop ("naughty" on Dusky, who is confirmed town -- meaning that Zinger must be paranoid or insane -- and yet also has a "nice" result in Darkstar)

If KoD's results are legit, then we also know that Darkstar is naive. Moreover, KoD's "naughty" on Zinger is consistent either with KoD being scum and lying or Zinger being scum. Given that Zinger's results are incompatible with his being a cop, he is the most likely candidate, so I propose that we kill Zinger. If he turns up town, we lynch KoD for lying (barring other incriminating results).

The only possible mitigating factor that I can think of for Zinger is that I know, for a fact, that we did not start the game with two full sets of cops. I suspect, based on available info, that the initial role distribution was 4 cops, 4 fall-back cops, 1 whatever Dusky is, and 1 scum. In this configuration, not every player who is currently a cop was also a cop at the beginning of the game (though all players would now be cops), meaning that only the most recent investigation result is actually inviolable.

If the above is true, I would ask KoD to confirm that he did, indeed, start the game as a cop. If he did, then Zinger remains our scum candidate. If KoD did not (and is town, so admits this fact), then our scum candidate may lie elsewhere. If KoD claims that he did begin the game as a cop and Zinger also flips scum, then KoD has probably lied, in which case we (still) likely proceed by lynching KoD tomorrow.

Upon reading that, I do recall a "terse" debate over your NLP in a Dethy. Goes to show just how much you've played with us recently.

We ***can't*** play this like a Dethy without making broad assumptions regarding sanity given the number of people involved. For instance, you're making assumptions that those alive makeup the standard sanities of cops without considering the dead (and what that means for those living like myself wrt to the results).

Let me focus on insane by way of example:

We have Zinger who could possibly be insane (which would indicate Dark and assuming you ignore me as sane for the moment). You and Rag both *could* be insane, but as it stands only have naughty results which indicates, likely, paranoid.

When you throw me in, you've got both Arrgh and Neon with Neon having the result that may indicate insane (if you view me as santa as opposed to scum).


So it's hardly as straightforward as a typical Dethy given there are a lot of possibilities for the results given. Plus, that's not even factoring in whether we're dealing with two scum as opposed to one given the two night kills on N1.

I'm going to throwback to something Rag brought up which is whether or not the Krampus special ability if in play (if at all).

Looking specifically at the N0 results, both Neon and Arrgh having opposing results on me is telling since, given both Rag and Sky seem poised to be paranoid, Neon ***could*** be insane. The only other player that could possibly be insane, given the results we have right now, is Zinger and that breaks things because if I'm truly sane, then Zinger has to be scum, not santa.

Plus I find it hard to believe that Zinger, as scum, would not eliminate me when I returned a Naughty result on him. Not unless he intentionally left me alive because of Neon/Arrgh (and that itself would beg the question of whether whether one, lone scum player can double kill vs multiple scum being in which means that a scum Zinger with one kill would have to bank on just one player being killed that investigated me vs just killing me).

While circumstantial, I just don't think Zinger is culpable based strictly off results (that and my NLP point was satisfactorily addressed too).

I'm going to throw down on Rag instead if only because Rag doesn't seem too keen on actually solving a puzzle which just may be in the wheelhouse of scum Rag.

By my count (which are pretty good skills if my tracking of the days without pear trees are any indication), that leaves with just Rag and KoD locked in a stale mate. But fret not! This the season for miracles! RNGesus has come to rumble.

Well then.

It should be no surprise that I deserve to live. Why? Because Rag usually dies the first day via lynch, but no one chopped Rag because Rag stayed silent so that no one would focus her. Clearly with Rag's lack of effort in trying to find the scum this game (typically town Rag loves to solve puzzles and is more active) this points to Rag not deserving victory.

Also if Rag says I need to lose because it's me, don't listen to her.

People love me. I'm like the most loveable person you'll ever meet. Just ask anyone who played this game Rag. I'm like best friends with most of them (I'll never be best friends with Dusky because she did me dirty by not reviving me in Zinger's Ability Draft Mafia -- the nerve).

Yet another reason why I deserve victory. Because I'm friendly. Usually.
