As with any leaks, these are unconfirmed and possibly fake, but they're believable enough to me that I think they'd be interesting to discuss!

As a reminder, Phyrexia: All Will Be One is the next standard set to come out after The Brothers' War.

What stands out to me:

1) Poison is confirmed to be back with Sinew Dancer.
2) We have an unknown mechanic "Toxic N" that should be fun to speculate about over the next few months.
3) I like corrupted as a way to make poison relevant even if it isn't your main wincon. It's also a subtle callback to metalcraft.
4) My favorite theory so far for toxic is that it's infect but optional. Basically, if a source with toxic N would deal damage, you can instead choose to put N poison or -1/-1 counters on the damaged thing. Or it could just be a non-optional poisonous/infect hybrid, but I think the optional idea would play really well, especially alongside the corrupted mechanic.
5) Despite the obvious comparisons to infect, toxic could really be anything. Maybe it's a dies trigger that gives N poison counters, or maybe it doesn't even involve poison at all. (Although the latter seems unlikely with the name toxic in a set that uses poison.)
6) Oil counters could just be a charge counter mechanic to synergize with proliferate, but I can't help but wonder if they might come with mechanical baggage as well.

Huh ... I think Toxic N may be the following

Toxic N (If this creature would deal combat damage to a player, you may have that player get N poison counters instead.)

Mirrors Poisonous N from older sets, and the option to choose how to deal damage means that you don't have to draft a critical mass of Toxic creatures to use them effectively.

*"To YMTC it up" means to design cards that have value mostly from a design perspective. i.e. you would put them in a case under glass in your living room and visitors could remark upon the wonderful design principles, with nobody ever worring if the cards are annoying/pointless/confusing in actual play

I replaced the broken reddit images with ones from mythicspoiler.com. They should be visible now.

Ok now that Ibsee the images, I want to ask if WotC has done anything similar in terms ofbfoiling; as it looks like now, the phyrexian watermarks on each card seem to be reflecting light at different angles, which makes me think they'll "sparkle" when the card is shown off.

(I really am at a loss for how to effectively describe what Im saying here)

Here's an image:

I'm really curious to know why they went with something so similar to poisonous rather than just using poisonous or even changing the poisonous rules like they did with lifelink. I'm also very curious how multiple instances of toxic work. We've never had a static combat damage ability with a number before. Do they add together or do you only use the highest one?

From a design perspective, how will they deal with the poisonous problem of life loss killing the player before poison does? Actually, proliferate and corrupted are good answers to that.

Also, Mite is a new creature type. Will Haywire Mite get errata, or will this be one of those token-only creature types?

Scion of the Ur-Dragon vs Eldrazi Scion

Primeval Spawn vs Eldrazi Spawn

Im guessing since it is a creature type for a specific planar faction like the Eldrazi (not sure what to call it tbh), Im betting Mite will be a token only thing.

Also while doing this, I saw Infernius Spawnington III, Esq. and couldnt help but smile.
