On game trailers my hot take is it's better to show almost no gameplay/game cutscenes or you just end up spoiling plot elements e.g Mass effect 3 - great lauch trailer but it manages to spoil

It's why i like that Halo ODST and Dead island trailer, no gameplay but gets the point across perfectly

Most soldiers on the front line tend to sit tight as a default. It’s the role of Sgts and NCOs to push the attack forward when it’s time. Back in Napoleonic days, there would be a row of officers in the back with pistols that would shoot any soldiers that didn’t move forward when the time came. Nice motivator lol

Anyway, Putting the Sept 11th memorial in that trailer was a weird choice for a Civ game

I guess nice shout out to the red bandana boys!


Also Lord Eddark Stark for voiceover is weird cuz you can’t play as any Westeros civ in that game. IDIOTS
