Just a heads up: lots of business in Talcar is outsourced, like the protection gig you guys are running, or Spitwick's caravan team. It is entirely reasonable in the near future you guys outsource some of your adventuring to minions and mercenaries, etc. So if you're RP-ing a character from Talcar and the surrounding area, feel free to accept this as the "norm" or, more believable, criticize whatever practices you see as "abnormal" and expound upon why the way you're used to doing things is better. If you're RP-ing a character that isn't from Talcar, feel free to use this to ask questions, and I'll post the answers in this OOC room so other player characters can answer. It's a great way to flesh out the world while making it your own

Question: If there has been 5 days of snow before us where travel wasn't possible, then how did we get here in the impassible snow?

Answer: the slopes up the mountain are impassable. These are all people who have business up the mountain and are waiting out the storm. The roads you took to get here were fine.

I went back and blued important dialogue. I'll remember to keep doing that in the future.

Is Spitwick paying for our room and board?

Yes. You're all sharing a room though -- 4 bunks.
