Match Organisation Players should arrange their own matches for the various rounds. It is recommended to play all The BO1 round one matches at same time for each pairing (4 BO1 matches, between the 4 Commanders) to optimise the time for both players but this is up to individual players to agree at match time.
Match Results {Google sheets link here - after participants commander list confirmed} A Google Sheets results round up for each round. Players to update results. 1 point for each win. Players alternatively can post results in thread which will be updated by admin.
Casual Fair Play Players competing are pretty much NGA brothers so it assumed that any issues re disconnects etc can be mutually worked out between players. In case of doubt just replay the particular BO1 individual match.

For Second Stage, do you just choose one of your two available commanders and play one with that particular commander?
No for Second Stage both commanders are used. Four matches are played. Best overall results by player wins the bracket. The cut to a single commander happens at final. Of the two the best results for the player commander is used. If tied the player decides for the final. SquiderDragon

I'm sorry but maybe I'm just not comprehending things today but I must ask, how many games of bo1 before a winner is declared? Do we play everyone on the list with two different decks and if so see question 1. I'm sorry but this seems needlessly confusing. I've never played a tournament where you are required to use two different decks. Regardless it's been a busy weekend I won't be building until tomorrow after work so one the rules get straightened out for me I should be available to start sometime this week.

Hi Devil. Sorry for confusion. Main reason for 2 decks is primarily re number of players we have. If it was one deck only there are not really enough games to get a decent first round. The other reason is there is no side boarding for Brawl so BO1 is one match which you either win or lose. But as explained it just means you have 28 matches rather than 7 and a better way of creating the bracket for round 2.
The idea as having effectively commanders being the participants rather than players is a number game so in effect we double the number of ‘participants’ from 8 to 16. It’s likely this will be a one off so I would rather we explore historic brawl with seeing a wider rather than narrower range of different commander builds.
Agree if you never play Brawl much and in particular historic Brawl’’s 100 card requirement it can take time. It is still a player tournament but the two decks at least gives variety which is normally provided via BO3 matches and sideboarding.
Match wise it’s pretty simple. BO1 and each match win or lose. I guess I could have considered a BO3 and one deck but that just means not really exploring this format with in effect just seeing 8 decks. It is a casual format so no decklists but a chance to consider changing the commander list between matches, very different of course from the usual set pool. Maybe a TLDR response but hope it explains the reason for setting this format out with 2 decks rather than one. SquiderDragon

Do you play 14 matches in Round 1 (both of your commanders against each opponent) or 28 (both of your commanders against both of each opponent's commander)?
Example: Squider has Alela and Nethroi, Haven has Torbran and Light-paws.
Do we go:
Alela v. Torbran Nethroi v. Light-paws
and that's it, or, do we also do
Alela v. Light-paws Nethroi v. Torbran
?

The Intention was a match v all Commanders. So in a play session it would be the 4 matches listed. It probably makes for a longer Round one but as it’s casual I do not mind if other participants don’t. SquiderDragon.

Great Devil. If you wish you can list the commander you have. You can wait to provide your second but you can start matches with players with one or both commanders that are listed. If players want to start off with one it can get things going. SquiderDragon

First deck commander is Rankle, Master of Pranks. I have been working on my second deck as an idea but I can't solidly give a commander yet. I must say I've been considering Esika also. I see a lot of potential there.
Thanks Devil, updated. That’s half the field. Just need the others to express an interest and provide their commander pairs. SquiderDragon.

Squidude, you may have missed it on the Discord but Cucho chose Baral and Feather as commanders. If it wasn't late for me I would hit up Haven for matches and I see they're online. I'll prod sixty.

We can probably make a start. I will update the lists. Just not been playing at all of late nor checking discord. Historic Commander would be still be preferred format. We can start the all play all matches. I will create a Google sheet at some point when there are enough matches in the bag.
Remember it is one single BO1 with each commander (2 per player) vs each other so 4 matches in total for round one. Post match results here for now. SD
