Flying, vigilance
When Ao, the Dawn Sky dies, choose one -
- Look at the top seven cards of your library. Put any number of nonland permanent cards with total mana value 4 or less from among them onto the battlefield. Put the rest on the bottom of your library in a random order.
- Put two +1/+1 counters on each permanent you control that's a creature or vehicle.

Flying, ward 3
When Kairi, the Swirling Sky dies, choose one -
- Return any number of target nonland permanents with total mana value of ? to their owners' hands.
- mill six cards, then return up to ? and/or sorcery cards from your graveyard to your hand.

Flying, menace
When Junji, the Midnight Sky dies, choose one--
- Each opponent discards two cards and loses 2 life.
- Put target non-Dragon creature card from a graveyard onto the battlefield under your control. You lose 2 life.

Flying, deathtouch
When Kura, the Boundless Sky dies, choose one -
* Search your library for up to three land cards, reveal them, put them into your hand, then shuffle.
* Create an X/X green Spirit creature token, where X is the number of lands you control.

Ao is going to be pretty awesome in a Cheerios kind of build. Kari depends heavily on the numbers bit the spell fishing can't be bad. Junji Ito (as the :b: one better be nicknamed) seems a little bit of a no-brainer with Unnerve not being great but "Reanimate anything" being pretty good. Kura, I'm moderately excited that the tutor mode doesn't say "basic".

Ao seems good even if you just get a four drop

Ao feels like a Legacy design that was pushed out of playability to prevent shenanigans in other formats; in particular most of the creatures in Legacy Cheerios cost 0 but have 0 power; between the first mode being almost a Wheel of Fortune with no downside and the second mode being a much needed pump to win, it definitely seems like it has potential.

Junji is obviously great. Not really exciting though.

Kura looks like it'll be extremely powerful: Flying and Deathtouch is a great defensive combination (see Baleful Strix or Tidehollow Strix), and assuming you cast this with five lands, it will replace itself with a 5/5 vanilla.

I appreciate that each responds to different states of the game. Ao helps you get a board or empower an existing board. Kairi helps you get tempo or value. etc.

Five mana is a bit much for a baleful strix

Oh right; I forgot Strix was also 4/4 and replaced itself with a 5/5 or better. How could I forget.

The defensive utility of that keyword combination aside, it also swings for 4 in the air and can actually survive blocking anything with 3 or less power. Not to mention it replaces itself with something with a bigger body.

Like, while it is nice to not see basic attached to a land tutor, that is definitely the weakest part of this design.

Honestly I think the "defensive utility" is numbed somewhat by the fact that it's 4 power to begin with. It's going to punch a lot of things to death without the need for deathtouch. Not that it isn't still a good card, but the deathtouch feels more like trinket text. Or, more than that, as something to be used offensively to crash through... is Wall of Denial a thing?

Plumeveil was in the same standard as Wall; I think Wall pushed it out with Shroud and surviving Baneslayer.
