That and if we're able to talk at night maybe we should utilize it to figure out this Epistemology-style Dethy that, apparently, has a jester in it that didn't get rid of me. Yet.

So, the OP was obviously lying about the "no unique roles" thing. There's no telling how many unique roles there are, though.

If we assume that most of the characters operate as advertised, that does imply that Mongoose is either sane or insane, as the Jester role can explain the nil result. Likewise, only KoD or I could possibly be naive.

However, it is quite likely that there are more roles it there which break the stated rules, so all analysis is weak at best.

Looks like Dick Dastardly, and his dog Muttly have won the Wacky Race’s. Shame be upon you KoD, for letting such a Sinister Sham succeed. SMH

I investigated CL and he appears Town.

Ammended the day post to add more bodies. That is all.

By simple process of elimination, with Zinger withdrawing, I can say from perspective, that it has to be either KoD or Arrgh are the scum. That being said, arrgh lack of activity is scummy, however not near as scummy as KoD’s Hammering of the jester. With that being said I’ll just leave this here.

Well given my Nil result on dusky, I can surmise that my town results on CL are also accurate. Therefore by my logic, you or KoD have to be the scum, and the other being naive.

You could be insane. That would presumably also give a nil result on a jester.

In that case how can I be sure that it is not you?

You absolutely cannot. That's my point.

Here are the options for you:

You could be Sane Town, in which case CL is town.
You could be Insane Town, in which case CL is scum.
You could be Sane Scum, in which case CL is town AND achieved some kind of protection last night (this one is unlikely, but possible).
You could be Insane Scum, in which case CL is also scum.

Due to the bastardry, none of them can be fully discounted, although the scenarios where you are scum seem less likely. We'd certainly need to hear from CL and KoD before we make any decisions.
