Dethy: Everything You Know is Still Wrong
A little over three years ago I told you that everything you know was wrong. Over the course of roughly a month I proved this to you. But most of you seem to have forgotten this, so I must once again refresh your memories. Everything you know is still wrong and I’m here to show you just how wrong you’ve been from then until now. Prepare yourselves.
This will be a five player game. Similar to the last iteration each player will present as a town aligned cop of varying sanity with scum having to discover themselves along with the rest of the game. Naturally this is your warning that this game has fairly heavily bastardized elements to it. If you have issues with being swerved severely, don’t sign up.
The sanities will function in the following capacity:
Sane: Sane Town will get an accurate result for their investigation. Sane Scum will kill their target true.
Insane: Insane Town will receive an inverted result fo their investigation. Insane Scum will protect their target.
Naive: Naive Town will always receive a town result for their targets. Naive Scum will protect anybody that targets them at night.
Paranoid: Paranoid Town will always receive a scum result for their targets. Paranoid scum will kill anybody that target them during the night.
Sanities will be randomly determined. Repeats for town are not possible.
The following Rules are bound beyond contestation, even from me. Take them to heart.
- Each player will receive one vote for the day. No Lynch is a viable vote.
- Votes will be counted as long as I feel they are worthy of being counted. There will be no hard and fast rules on formatting, so if you try to swerve a fake vote, be mindful that I might count it anyways as my whims see fit. Formatting is still appreciated though.
- The recipient with the most votes at deadline will be lynched. Immortal objects will result in simply a failed lynch and progression to night.
- In the event of a tie you will be given a run off vote with some options of things to happen in lieu of the standard lynch.
- Deadlines will be semi-hard. Majority will not end day early, but all votes being cast will. Similarly all roles being submit at night will end that deadline early too.
- You may not discuss the game outside of the game thread, with the exception of pming me.
- You may not use hard to read colors/fonts/codes.
- Days will last 96 hours. Nights will last 48. Typically. If you expect more than a 48 hour absence, give notice.
- Ask all the questions. That’s how you get the answers you need.
- Any role that circumvents these rules will take precedence over these rules.
- Any player that cannot continue the game will be set on auto pilot. Their targets will be randomly determined and their investigation revealed publicly at the start of day. Their slot will persist until dealt with accordingly.
Players:
1. KoD - L
2. Zinger - L
3. Tevish - L
4. CL - L
5. Aaarrrgh - L
6. Duskyblue - W
7. Mongoose - LIf you're surprised by the random sixth, I really didn't teach you anything last go around. There will be no role PMs, as this game features no unique roles. So we will roll straight into night 0, confirm your presence via sending in your target. Night will end in 48 hours or when all targets are in.
