Skystone has been hammered.

I actually totally would drag the game out if Naga was scum because I am pedantic about rules and it would be pretty funny all things considered

After a long rest, a sudden decision was made.

Skystone has been Banished to Nowhere

It is now Night. You know the drill.

It is now Day...

Only two Aspects remain... and one belongs to the Void. The new world that would have been sours, like an egg rotted in its shell, blooming with nightmares and nothingness. ExLight revels in the corruption, as dark nothingness swirls over the creation, corrupting it irretrievably from its pure design.

JD sighs heavily while the peanut gallery stranded in Nowhere unleashes a collective groan.

"Well, this is going to be a fun few thousand years..."

VOID IS VICTORIOUS

This game was based on a physical "Werewolf" that came into being as promo cards for a CCG with their mafia rules basically as flavor text. The flavor for this game is new, but the mechanics were the best I could figure from the promos. This resulted in most roles being simple, but some being quite nonstandard because they would have been easy to play with, you know, actual cards -- the most notable of those was probably KoD's Honest self-confirming (which would have been necessary in paper). The game was as such...

Rag was Discord, a mafia goon. Rag would have been able to NK if Ex died. Rag and Ex were not able to communicate out of thread but did, of course, know who each other were.
Ex was Emptiness, the mafia "don". In this game, that simply meant that Ex started the game in full control of the NK.
JD was War. War was a "Bomb" role -- when/if he died for any reason, he could pick and kill any other player. Trivia: Had Ex shot the last night this wouldn't have changed the outcome; void would have been declared the winner in the event of a 0-0 day start (At least as many void as world, before checking for no void)
Dark was Creation, a more or less standard town Doc. Had the restriction of not being able to protect the same person in succession.
KoD was Honest. You all already know his IC/Dayvig combo. Now you know why it worked that way.
CL was Knowledge. Basic town cop role.
Sky was Hope, a vanilla townie.
Naga was Death. He received death flips. This was honestly the hardest role for me to interpret, and informed the fact that there weren't normal flips in the game (the original version was to know if a dead player was the don role, which seemed like a weird and ineffectual role)

I was shocked Ex got away with the "I'm a roleblocker" play after the doc flip was revealed (I thought he'd kill naga there to prevent it), basically riding that ftw.

Poor CL. No wonder he stays out there in left field.

Sorry!
I figured you were probably something that could benefit from being targeted from a kill so I holstered it last night, but it's interesting that I would've won even with a 0-0 lol

You really did.

Though something I noticed about the setup, it was possible for either side to be announced as the winner at top of d2

A correct hail mary from Honest plus a correct lynch would eliminate scum
If Honest shot Town D1 alongside a mislynch, and one of those two was War and also shot town, 4/6 townies would be dead entering D2, and scum would win.

I feel like a big element of the setup, more than it even being town-sided (which it kind of is in retrospect) is that it's hugely swingy putting extra kills out there in such a small game.

generally speaking a town vig is typically considered to increases towns odds even if in practice they hit town a considerable number of times

town had multiple strong power roles and scum had none. vanilla cop and vanilla doc are both incredibly strong in small setups and having both in a game this small would require giving scum a lot of power to compensate but scum had no positive utility outside of the kill and didn't even have their usual positive utility of being able to communicate.

no death flips does benefit scum a fair deal though (although if naga wasn't awol that would have been a significantly diminished advantage).

I don't feel like doing the math but as an open setup its probably even hard solvable for town, which probably isn't a great sign.

My first instinct was actually killing naga
but I realized that if KoD and JD were still around KoD would prolly give me hell if he started tinfoiling, and since he was already a green check I thought well why not lol
