All is fair in WIFOM and mafia.

Smiles doesn't convince me at all as a lot of his arguments are extremely WIFOMy to me. Could he be telling the truth and being sincere? Sure, but he's had several instances where he's undermined himself in terms of how he's presenting himself. That's on him, not me.

Especially when Tevish appears more townie than Smikes does. Again, not my fault. And far be it from me to swing in a manner that satiates Smiles' ego, but treats Tevish and his arguments unfairly.

For better or worse, I'm sticking with my outlook. I doubt the scum is outside of Smiles/Tevish, but if I had to lose because of this particular lynch, then I'd rather lose to Tevish. Not Smiles.

And if the scum truly is outside of both of them, which I HIGHLY doubt, then good on that scum player for playing decently so as to not appear more scummy than some others. But that's a bridge I have yet to cross and burn.

I'm sticking with Smiles as the choice today. I hope the rest of you join me much to Smiles' chagrin.

I personally don't think someone mafia could summon quite that amount of self-righteous outrage.

LoS has now officially stepped back from the game. For balance reasons, his character, kart and vote will remain in the game until end of Day.

Earlier I did not notice the contradiction Smiles made and from a reread after having to see the contradiction it looks really bad.

While Smiles is not my first choice, I'm a big fan of NOT making the host scramble around to find people to sub in in the end stages of the game. There were other thoughts I had yesterday that I was unable to voice at the time because of work, but I do not think they are important now.

Also @Faerie, No offense, but I have no memory of playing with you before. Like, maybe if I think about it? But knowing we've crossed paths before does alter your headvoice ever so slightly.

Daisy pulls a second star from her dress. The Parade Train zooms forward, seeking to crush the nefarious Mario, but King Boo tugs on the wheel and drifts aside.

With the Rainbow Road conquered, the racers assemble. Gripped by some strange fever, they march one-by-one to the ballot box, vacuous all. "Kill town," the mutter to themselves. "Kill town."

In the end, their dubious wish is granted. Poor, perfect Koopa Troopa is strung up from a rainbow and left to die.

The Parade Train and the Turbo Pipes continue their eternal combat. Mario, in a fit of hope, fires a pair of shells backward at Daisy, who dodges effortlessly. Grinning, she deploys a salvo of her own, but Boo takes the wheel, dodging the undodgeable.

Twice. (If at the cost of a brief offstage excursion.)

Waluigi sheds a tear. "Waa," he declares, dropping a bomb behind him. There is a certain joy in ending things with an explosion.

But the moon rises again. The Hunt still races.

Lakitu certainly thinks so. Once again, as the hunt begins, he descends nonchalantly on his tiny cloud, fishes himself up a would-be victim, and hauls the poor, frightened kart enthusiast skyward.

Below him, the katana-wielding woman shakes her fist. But she cannot fly.
