Destroy target nonland permanent.

There isn't a single card that just destroys a nonland permanent with no extra text. We have Vindicate and Utter End, but nothing in between. I mostly want them to print this so the effect has a good name to reference when talking about similar cards.

IT actually is fairly surprising that doesn't exist. I guess lots of people would balk at taking damage, but it's still a cool card.

They don’t want a critical mass of burn cards. The drawback isn’t really relevant unless you’re in a mirror match

If it had “tap, sacrifice me: draw a card” instead of draw on etb it’d be slightly underpowered, but seems on the strong side atm. Maybe it should have coldsnap delayed draw

We've had lots of lands that sacrifice to draw a card, and also lands that can repeatedly draw cards, so it is kinda surprising nothing just draws a card on EtB.

I definitely thought this was too good at first, but I'm honestly not sure. There are lots of ways to make it weaker, though. Add some condition to the card draw, add a cost to the card draw, or add a cost to the land itself ala Rupture Spire.

I would imagine something like this has been posted in this thread before but I'm not sure.

I was surprised to realize that no mana dorks with flash have been printed afaik. It's rather obvious in hindsight.

Can ambush some 1/1s, chump block or set-up combat tricks as well all the usual ramping out of mana dorks. Also, the flash can function as sort of a pseudo-haste when played on opponent's end step, which can help avoid "getting your bird bolted" before you can tap it.
