That isn't even a great spot. It requires a God draw from you and has you dealing 0 damage by turn 4. It gets destroyed by virtually any removal.

Yes, with the perfect sculpted hand, of 9 out of 9 cards, you can do that. Hooray. And as Vert says, eat a Cast Down/Prison Realm/etc and then roll and die. (Chance of Op having 1 hard removal = x100 the chance of you having that hand...being pesimistic, cause the chance of getting 3 elves + the rest out of 9 cards is abysmal)

Edit: as the good assburgers sufferer I am, I bothered to find the answer...the chance of you having that hand is 0.025%...one in 4 thousands, more or less...congrats!

You can cast Gargos T3. You can also make a 7/7 Krasis or 14/15 Voracious on T3. You need 3 lands, Leyline of Abundance and 3 mana dorks.

Yes it takes an amazing draw to get a 20/20, but there is a lot of room between a 5/5 which you claimed (without even doing a little bit of math) was doable at first and the actual max.

So far my best is EsperBond. I had been hovering around Platinum for quite a while trying lots of decks with basically a 50% win rate. Esper has gotten me to Diamond 3 and climbing steadily. Constantly tweaking a handful of cards, but slowly shaping up to be what I want. I hope to hang out in Mythic with all the rest of you.

With Mono W running amongst the top decks in ladder what better foil than a Mono B life gain demonic vampire zombie deck.

This build tries to have early removal or blockers for the mono W early plays. The kite sail freebooters can give early deck info and slow a fast start. The deck contains a decent number of turn 1/2 plays (10) and packs (12) removal spells for good measure but really requires 3 lands to run well (hence 24 lands).

The Grim Dancers should always have life link but deathtouch or menace depends on type of deck faced. Grasp of Darkness Can deal with indestructible creatures usually. The singleton Witch's Cottage is normally used for mana but could if drawn late return a Kitesail Freebooter, Grimdancer or Nighthawk Scavenger which are usually best choices.

The Sanitarium Skeleton is important in the deck as a recurring blocker and a good enough target at need for a Demonic Embrace given it’s 2 toughness. Demonic Embrace Can rely on the fact that there is a lot of lifelink via Murderous Rider, Nighthawk Scavenger and Gray Merchant of Asphodel With the first 2 great targets for the Demonic Embrace.

The Massacre Wurm can be a great finisher to deal extra damage from death triggers and potential to board wipe token decks. It also adds 3 black devotion to provide one of the main finishers via casting a Gray Merchant of Asphodel with enough devotion from the double black creatures and also double black via Demonic Embrace.

Finally from mid to late game card draw is available from Village Rites (cast on Sanitarium Skeleton if available on board) and Castle Locthwain with support from the life gain.

The deck should at least be providing a 60% win rate (certainly these results or better in Platinum rank).

Cut those white decks down to size with this life gaining demonic vampire zombie deck!
