Well remember, there's only one pack of each set, and I think I'd rather have the two splice finishers and pick up the arcane in the later sets.

But the splice deck needs to live long enough to deck the other guy. So it needs either Whispers or Rays.

Actually, Cowed can be good in the splice deck, since the deck wants a full hand. But we need the Reach to enable the white splash.
