So you've been using the rubber chicken BEFORE the slide whistle? Well, rookie mistake, but I guess it does happen...
Okay, that got definitely got me. Thanks for the laugh.
Anyway, since I didn't seem to scare people away, I'll elaborate:
Some information
Lubrication is apparently really important and something I never realized I even needed. A debated-if-it-exists medical condition called Death Grip Syndrome is caused by men using too much pressure with their hands — it doesn't take much both because that's an extremely sensitive part of your body and because hand muscles are basically always going to overpower the natural muscles that you would normally meet — and ends up basically deadening your nerves.
I heard about this by stumbling upon a podcast called Doing It! and listening to a recent male-sex-health-centered episode.
Too much information
I warned you.
Between being circumcised (an extremely common practice in the U.S.) and the above, I think I've got some real sensitivity issues. I was also told that men's underwear also tends to be much rougher than women's underwear, further exacerbating the problem. Before I discovered this I was actually worried that I was having a problem related to porn addiction because it's become hard at times to reach a conclusion, but now I'm convinced it's actually physical instead of mental.
way too much information
It happened to be before I discovered this problem, but at age 30, I finally ordered my first sex toy, because I kind of realized that I could just do that. I have already noticed a distinct difference, but I'm still going to need to take long steps toward "recovering" from the damage I've done to myself.
Now that this poll is officially over, it's time to congratulate Aaarrrgh for designing Hill, which has been decided by popular vote to be the Card of the Month for October 2013!

Update for my therapy: I had my first session yesterday. I talked a lot. It didn't feel like anything worth noting happened.
some confessions and feelings
I mentioned a little bit ago (though it may have been in a different thread) that I joined a group of people that (mostly) talk about reading and writing erotica. It's been quite an experience for me, and I may have gotten lucky, but it's been a very open and accepting place with very knowledgeable people and not just filled with perverts. Well, they are "perverts," but not the miserable kind that lurk in the dark corners of the internet.
They have helped me challenge my views on a few things recently, and specifically I think I'm coming out of my shell regarding sexuality (just as in humans being sexual regardless of preference or culture). There are some things I remember saying here that I'm starting to regret now, and I'm also kind of re-examining some opinions I formed on pieces of media, simply because of sexual inclusions (Saga comes to mind).
Because of things I've already brought up here, you all have also made me feel more comfortable, because you've been more accepting of things — things that I would normally dread to talk about — than I expected. I'm not sure how far I am going to be willing to push on my old boundaries (I still have a general problem of confidence in my abilities beyond the issues of sex, after all), but I am really glad that, should I choose to go a little blue, I don't have to worry about making people uncomfortable.
Is there a medical term for lack of motivation bordering on self destructive tendencies due to neglect of certain tasks?
I might be nitpicky and say it wouldn't be a medical term but a psychological term, but I also don't know enough about psychology to give you an answer. That does sound a little serious, though.

That's plain old self sabotage/self-harm, I'm not sure whether there's a specific term for when it's characterized by inaction. Also, might be a form of depression?
@Luna: glad to hear about your progress! And proud that this place is a part of it

So, our big mail hub for the region is apparently about ten days behind schedule. I'm getting legitimately irritated with that now.

A relative asked me to help get a ps5 for their partner, by Christmas if possible.
I’m not spending money on EBay outside of a life or death situation, so I told them I’d try but they are probably SOL. Heck, after my week I’m tempted to keep thd damn thing if I actually get one.
*"To YMTC it up" means to design cards that have value mostly from a design perspective. i.e. you would put them in a case under glass in your living room and visitors could remark upon the wonderful design principles, with nobody ever worring if the cards are annoying/pointless/confusing in actual play
For as much valid criticism and exaggerated hoopla that has been leveled at cyberpunk 2077, my only real complaint is that the radio stations kind of suck.

I furminated a lab for the first time last week. The lab seemed to enjoy it, so that's good.
Seriously, no bites? A Furminator is a dog grooming tool and the lab was a chocolate.
Yeah, sorry, that one went right over my head, so I wasn't going to say anything. I have no problem with dogs, really, but I would not describe myself as a "dog person" in any way. Not like Donagut, anyway...

Tbh I had to look up the furminator bit and THEN remember lab doesn't just mean laboratory After two obvious disconnections out of four words, I decided to keep away from it lol
Tho it would be a cute bizarro concept to have hairy, sentient laboratories you had to take care of. A furry chocolate laboratory, however, wouldn't be very sanitary...

I do NOT apologize for the shameless plug but my friend that did the beautiful Sharaka art I use as an avatar is doing a commission sale! He's moving out and taking 50% off his commissions until the end of the year, link if you want to check it out. I'll probably gush more about it soon in the happy thread because I'm getting some Storyteller art
