Are there that many ways to do it?

I mean I'm definitely not doing it "the right way", but I've also never thought otherwise.

Well, rookie mistake, but I guess it does happen...

Okay, that got definitely got me. Thanks for the laugh.

Anyway, since I didn't seem to scare people away, I'll elaborate:

Is there a medical term for lack of motivation bordering on self destructive tendencies due to neglect of certain tasks?

Pathological apathy is a thing, but maybe not exactly what you mean?

Update for my therapy: I had my first session yesterday. I talked a lot. It didn't feel like anything worth noting happened.

some confessions and feelings

I might be nitpicky and say it wouldn't be a medical term but a psychological term, but I also don't know enough about psychology to give you an answer. That does sound a little serious, though.

That's plain old self sabotage/self-harm, I'm not sure whether there's a specific term for when it's characterized by inaction. Also, might be a form of depression?

@Luna: glad to hear about your progress! And proud that this place is a part of it :)

That's fair.

So, our big mail hub for the region is apparently about ten days behind schedule. I'm getting legitimately irritated with that now.

A relative asked me to help get a ps5 for their partner, by Christmas if possible.

I’m not spending money on EBay outside of a life or death situation, so I told them I’d try but they are probably SOL. Heck, after my week I’m tempted to keep thd damn thing if I actually get one.

44 more papers to go, and I am finally out of this semester. It has felt like the longest of my career.

I furminated a lab for the first time last week. The lab seemed to enjoy it, so that's good.

For as much valid criticism and exaggerated hoopla that has been leveled at cyberpunk 2077, my only real complaint is that the radio stations kind of suck.

See this is why I don't buy new games. I mean, it's actually not, but this would be a good reason.

Seriously, no bites? A Furminator is a dog grooming tool and the lab was a chocolate.

Yeah, sorry, that one went right over my head, so I wasn't going to say anything. I have no problem with dogs, really, but I would not describe myself as a "dog person" in any way. Not like Donagut, anyway...

:D

Tbh I had to look up the furminator bit and THEN remember lab doesn't just mean laboratory :D After two obvious disconnections out of four words, I decided to keep away from it lol

Tho it would be a cute bizarro concept to have hairy, sentient laboratories you had to take care of. A furry chocolate laboratory, however, wouldn't be very sanitary...

I do NOT apologize for the shameless plug but my friend that did the beautiful Sharaka art I use as an avatar is doing a commission sale! He's moving out and taking 50% off his commissions until the end of the year, link if you want to check it out. I'll probably gush more about it soon in the happy thread because I'm getting some Storyteller art :D

Where/how do I find this person?
Edit: nevermind, I'm blind, you already posted the link.
