I'm not sure I understand that last one. Are they like textless card tokens? Or are there actual zero-faced cards?

Pretty sure Wizards has said they regret Swords to Plowshares and Path to Exile and regret giving White unconditional removal. This would be a lowkey-fascinating variation on Vindicate (arguably the most elegant card ever printed) if it cost , though.

@ParadOxymoron: I've always considered that statement to be more about efficiency than outright removal. Unmake, I think, makes me feel comfortable about a flat "exile target creature" spell in white as well as at the current cmc. Dire Tactics is the closest we've gotten to the Vindicate variant.

@Flopfoot: Exactly! Cards have always come close, but they never have quite gotten there in this simple form. I'd argue Bring to Trial is the closest, but it's needlessly restrictive. Oblivion Strike is another close one, but it having Devoid is actually quite a bit of upside. Besides, it's a card for black decks. I believe white should play more in this space.

I doubt this card would be much in terms of helping white to any meaningful degree.
White's allowed to remove creatures as long as it follows one of an increasingly high number of arbitrary conditions, like if they attacked you, or blocked, or if you control enough creatures, or if you give them a compensation, or if they're too big, or if you give them a chance to return, or if you spend a lot of mana on the spell, or if you also remove everything else with it. White's removal could probably do with some streamlining to be honest.
