Welcome to the game that is probably overly complex for 7 players but who cares.
Standard mafia rules apply, except for a few key differences outlined below. You'd do well to read them thoroughly.
On Voting:
In order to vote someone, you must have at least one creature in play.
When you vote, you must declare one of your untapped creatures as an attacker (it then taps unless it has the Vigilance keyword).
When someone else votes you, you can declare one of your untapped creatures as a blocker. This cancels their vote, but one or both of the creatures may die (if one has more power than the other, the greater power lives; otherwise, they both die).
Even if you have multiple creatures, you can still only vote for one player at a time. Each time you apply a new vote (whether it be an attempt to re-vote someone who blocked you, or vote a different player), you must declare an attacking creature.
At the end of the Day, the player with the most votes is lynched. There are no Majority Vote or Hammer rules. In the event of a tie, there is no lynch. You cannot vote for No Lynch.
On Roles:
Your Role consists of two things, one passive ability and a series of active, 1-shot abilities called "cards" which you draw from a deck.
Each deck consists of exactly 6 cards, plus one special card we'll call "Card X" which is set outside of your deck and can only be drawn under certain conditions.
At the start of the game, your deck of 6 is randomized and you'll draw 2 cards from it.
Then, if you're Town-Aligned, you draw an additional card at the beginning of each Day after the first. If you're Mafia-Aligned, you'll draw an additional card at the beginning of each Night, including the first.
When you've drawn all 6 cards, the order is reshuffled and they can be drawn again.
Cards have a mana cost to play them. Your available mana is equal to the current Day or Night number (So Day 1 you have 1 mana, Night 1 you have 1 mana, Day 2 you have 2 mana, and so on). You can play as many cards as you want as long as you have mana to do so.
Card types are as follows: Creatures, Planeswalkers, Enchantments, Artifacts, Sorceries, and Instants. The first four are "Permanents", which means they stay in play when you play them until removed. The last two have singular effects and then are discarded.
The only cards you can play at Night are Instants and spells with the Flash keyword.
On Reading Cards:
Cards have a name, a type, a cost, and an effect. If the card is a creature, it also has a power, which is usually equal to its cost.
Example card: "Ach! Hans, Run! — Enchantment | Cost: 3 | You have a posting restriction that requires you to say 'Ach! Hans Run!' in every post you make."
Example creature: "Smart Ass — Creature | Cost/Power: 2 | Vigilance; Whenever Smart Ass attacks, draw a card."
On Keywords:
Vigilance: Creatures with Vigilance don't tap to attack.
Flying: Creatures with Flying can only be blocked by other creatures with Flying.
Flash: Cards with Flash can be played at Night.
On Tokens:
Tokens are things that some cards can create which benefit you.
The most common kind of token is a creature token. Creature tokens behave just like creatures when in play, but they disappear if they leave play (a creature token returned to your hand, for example, is gone forever).
Other kinds of tokens may exist.
Standard mafia rules
Days are 72 hours, Nights are 24 hours. Players can vote* during the day to lynch another player (*however, seen special voting rules above). At Night, players can't post in the thread. The Mafia has a private chat that they can use to talk to each other at any time. Each Night, the Mafia can kill one other player. This is a factional ability, requiring no mana or cards to be used. At the game's start, there are 5 Town and 2 Mafia. Town wins if all Mafia are dead. Mafia wins if their numbers equal or outnumber the Town. Be nice to each other, or I'll modkill you for poor sportsmanlike behaviour.
I think that's it. We'll start playing soon as all the roles are out.
Now that this poll is officially over, it's time to congratulate Aaarrrgh for designing Hill, which has been decided by popular vote to be the Card of the Month for October 2013!

Big Brain Moment: Rag's all island deck has bestowed unto Rag a passive that requires creatures attacking her to either have islandwalk or flying.

I don't only have creatures. But yes, mostly creatures. Do you want me to test your theory by trying to attack Rag? Unless of course Rag wants to respond first.

I'd be careful if I were you, Arrgh.
One person did concede to Rag. For all we know, Rag's passive could be something else entirely.
