The problem with Stun is that you might not draw the card till the turn you win the game. Let’s fix it

There's a few variants of this that I'm surprised haven't already been explored. The closest has been Time to Feed with its weird delayed trigger.

Gorge -
Instant | C
Target creature you control deals damage equal to its power to target creature. You gain that much life.
Nothing has ever tasted as juicy, felt as filling, and been as rewarding as the first kill in a week.

Starved Brawl -
Sorcery | C
Target creature you control fights target creature you don't control. You gain life equal to the total amount of damage dealt by both creatures.
Two beasts enter the ring and only one will be crowned the dinner.

Ethereal Absolution comes the closest. It does a nice Dictate of Heliod impression with some added functionality and some removed functionality.
I think it being multicolor allows us to make it 4cmc, not 5cmc.

Ethereal Absolution was by far the best card in RNA limited. While the ability to make spirits was part of that, it was mostly just having a 2-point boost over every one of your opponent's creatures.

I guess what I'm saying is 1) this should be mythic, and 2) it should cost at least 5. Keep in mind that Curse of Death's Hold alone costs 5. Shrinking all your opponent's creatures and making X/1's worthless is no joke.

I do agree, though, that it'd be cool to see a simple version of this at some point. It seems like a very iconic effect.

As with most posts in this thread it's less 'I'm surprised Wizards hasn't done this' and more 'Wizards should do this'

If white has to be the worst at card draw it should at least get more scrying IMO

Can't decide if behead should do lifelink as well. Also, scryfall syntax search seems better than gatherer that I've been using for 13 years
